1. Ashley getting the deep romance she deserves.
2. Having Ash, Tali, Garrus, Legion, and possibly Thane return as squaddies.
3. More squad interaction, I love how in DA they talk to each other while you're walking around. I also love how they will talk about your LI when your talking to them.
4. A mix between the ME1 and ME2 inventory and ammo system.
5. More exploration.

1. Same sex relations
2. All squad mates for both games (if they lived)
3. An Ending that defines the word EPIC.
4.More Powers (for every class)
5. and Romantic conflicts (i.e. if you sleep with say Ash in ME1, and then sleep with Tali in ME2, there will be some kinda complication between the two)

1. Tedious minigames should be optional, scanning planets for mandatory upgrades in ME2 is painful at best, hacking and decryption should become harder as we advance and be dependent on character skill, NO SCANNING or optional scanning, preferably a vehicle with good controls, unlike the Mako and the Hammerhead.
2. Kaiden or Ashley, Miranda, Jacob, Legion, Tali, and Garrus as recruitable characters. Frankly I don't give a Krogan's testicle about the others, but cameos are always nice.
3. More items, more variety, more skills per character, MUCH more weapons than ME2, but without too many useless junk in ME1. In short, inventory and ammo system should be a hybrid of ME1 and 2.
4. More severe consequences to our actions in ME1 and 2 (I know you can do better than "thanks for saving me two years ago Commander, I turned out good" messages).
5. A better PC version which makes good use of mice and keyboards, and isn't ported from XBox 30 minutes before release. Bring back Demiurge and/or release the PC version later than the XBox version if necessary. No more "if it works for consoles it works for everyone" mentality.
Mass Effect 3 has the potential to be the single best game of this generation.

4. Cerberus should be an antagonist again, fueled by their desire to get revenge on Shepard.
