Maybe set it up for ME4?
EA said they wanted to expand the trilogy so...why not? haha.

1 Tali recruitable in squad (if alive) and continuation of romance
2 A more interesting way to get minerals than scanning.
3 Some more story time on the Quarians - especially want to see their faces.
4 Mordin in a sizable role
5 Same-sex romances that don't end in your DEATH (as per the Ardat Yakshi character)

I also think the rachni should be accepted and concluded that the Reapers were behind their war so thus they should be given an embassy

1. I want to see an attempt to save Thane, or prolong his life, to were you can either succeed or fail. If you fail, he dies, and you attend his funeral. If he succeeds, he either stays in your party or leaves to spend his final days in peace.
2. Tali and Garrus returning, as well as Liara and Alenko/Ashley
3. A fight between your ME1 romance and ME2 romance. This would work even for Liara, who has become a stone cold **** who threatens to flay living humans.
4. LEGION!
5. A Dragon Age take on the war, where you are trying to rally allies from different races to your cause. And depending on your actions in ME1 and ME2, they may or may not join you, and it may or may not be easy/hard. If you reprogram the Geth, recruit the Geth. If you leave Cerberus, join back up with the Alliance (even if they won't help you until the very very end). I really want the main plot of the game to not focus around recruiting new Squad members, but recruiting your old Squad from ME1 and ME2, and then going out to try and prepare the galaxy for this coming war. I mean you now have all the Reaper intel (either from the Renegade ending or the Paragon ending, you download the schematics and intelligence of the Reapers from the Collector Base) to PROVE they exist and PROVE they are coming.

1. Garrus and Tali.
2. As much of the ME 2 crew back as possible
3. We need a less boring mining mini-game. We're close it just needs to be simpler and easier.
4. Dragon Age style banter on planets/ More inter-party interaction!
5. Awesomeness.

1) Garrus and Tali
- These two for sure... not only they heped you to defeat soverign and Saren and defended the citadel, now they
saved the humanity from collectors... there is no way these three cane be separated now.
2) More nudity
-yup
3) IMO, bomb
- I usually opened up the battle with a bomb in ME1, so this was a big letdown in ME2
4) ship vs ship battle
- There is now way tha Shepard going to take down those reaper fleet just by himself in a foot.
5) Happy Ending with an LI
-the most important thing. Especially with my male Shep and Tali. Thes two deserve it

1: Liara
2: Moar Liara... awwwwright.
3: Moar Tali
4: Moar missions in which sniping and other specialized tactics are necessary. A lot of the ME2 missions were merely stick in cover then fire a burst, etc. etc., then repeat it much more carefully for a boss mob. I'd like a mission which was more stealth and sniping.
5: Bring back Sha'ira. She was cool.

Although this most likely wont be seen this deep but:
1) I want to see some Rachni Co-op which has been alluded to in both ME1 and ME2 now (hoping to see it in ME3 and not some separate game)
2) I want to see specifically Tali's face, but any quarian will do. I just want to know what they look like, it is killin me. haha...
3) More species, I loved all of the new species we see in ME2, with a whole galaxy out there, there is bound to be many.
4) Space dogfights.
5) More space exploration, like not just planet exploration. Space is so pretty, I'd love it if I could just jet around looking at how amazing the galaxy/universe are.

Exploring the Migrant fleet. Helping the Krogan rebuild Tutchanka? Helping the Rachni.
More interactions with the Geths if you did reprogram them.
Someone wake me up in one year and a couple of months!

1. Massive increase to banter between party members, and party member commentary on the mission itself. I felt like there was a lot less commentary on the missions by party members in ME2 than there was in ME1, which made me sad. More non-Shepherd initiated dialogue from party members.
2. Increased weapon/armor variety, removal of minerals system for upgrades purchases. I've spent way too much time planet-scanning and absolutely could not stand it. Bioware, it's ok to have planets in the game we can't do anything interactive with, and are just there to look pretty. We can handle it!
3. Persuasion system closer to ME1 than ME2 lines. I like being able to persuade people, but not being forced into a "pure" renegade or paragon line in order to stay persuasive. Sometimes I help sick people by giving them medi-gel, other times I kick unhelpful mercenaries out of windows.
4. Please do NOT make ME3 a kind of DA:O in space, where we have to go recruit everyone's fleets for the final battle with the reapers and that's that. Oh, I'd totally be up for a bunch of fleet recruitment missions, they could be really fun, especially with the many possibilities opened up by Wrex's survival/death, rachni survival/extinction, geth/quarian conflict, etc. I just think that if the focus of the game was on the whole army recruitment thing it'd be more about Shepherd being less of a super space marine not-so-secret-agent with a license to kill and more of a diplomat-type... At the very least it should be the [insert shepherd's mission-giver here] waking up and asking Shep to gather some of these as aid because they need all the help they can get... or something.
5. Squadmates. I like the ones we've had. Other posts have gone into much more depth of who they love/hate from before, so I will simply say: I want NEW ONES as well. A bunch of'em.

1.All for bringing back Tali(no for Garrus do not like Garrus)
2.Help take back Tali's homeworld diplomatically with Legion
3.Take out all of Cerberus(not Just TIM)
4.Jack, Jack, and more Jack.
5.Help Liara take out the Shadow Broker.
I have seen a lot of good ideas here but I think more along the lines of story over game play when it comes right down to it. A game could be so frustrating to play that you want to give up but if it has a good story I will stick with it until I know what happens.

1. Elcor Squadmate(...or at least, an Elcor on the ship we can talk to)
2. More depth to savegame data: In Mass 2, if you saved the Rachni Queen, all you get is a news report stating a Rachni sighting and an Asari who represents them. I would seriously have prefered a deeper consequence, for instance, actually meeting the Rachni. This was a bit of a "downer" moment for me.
3. More stuff on "Hub" planets and stations(i.e., Citadel, Omega, Illium); they felt a little empty this time around.
4. Clarify the storyline - No offense, but the storyline in Mass 1 made a little sense. After Mass 2, it doesn't make much sense at all.
Let me put it this way if some people disagree. In Mass 1, we had to go after Saren, we take down his operations, wondering why he's doing what he's doing. Eventually, we find out that Saren is really trying bring back the Reapers, but at the same time, is trying to find a way to combat indoctrination.
In Mass 2, we're trying to find a way past the Omega-4 Relay, find out why Humans are being targeted and abducted, and stop the Collectors from doing this. Eventually, we find out that the Collectors are really "Protheans," and are harvesting humans to make a human collector. At that point, I was like: What the fudge?
No, seriously, I mean, how does this work exactly?
I got the feeling that Casey Hudson ran out of ideas for why the Reapers needed to harvest Organics at all, then watched one of the Terminator films.
No offense, since I honestly probably couldn't come up with a better plotline, and the game was fantastic nonetheless. I just feel a little unsatisfied, I guess, with what I perceive to be a weak point in the plot.
5. More character dialogue, consequences to your actions, and post-plot conversations.
The first two are pretty obvious. The third may not be. What I mean by the third is just a few lines of recording to add more polish to the game. For instance, if you destroy the Collector base, then go back to Anderson on the Presidium, nothing happens. He still talks to you just like the first time you visit him.
I was really bummed out by this.
Like, I know we get to keep playing, unlike Mass 1, where there's a definite ending with the Council congratulating you and etc... But, it feels like BioWare just forgot to do this part of the game.
It doesn't have to be like, 8 minutes of voice work. Just 5-10 lines like, "Great work Shepard!" or a short conversation where the player gets to speak to him(or other leaders like Anderson) about the mission.

Hmmm...
1. An even bigger role for Joker (which I'm sure will happen) and perhaps an epic romance subplot with him for the female Shepards who want a pilot, but not a Carth.
2. The return of all my previous squadmates in some kind of form, personally, I would be totally fine with using the same exact squad from ME2, was totally happy with all of them and really hope there roles aren't diminished because they could possibly die.
3. Keep the streamlined inventory and weapons/armor management, couldn't take the micro-managing in ME1. Love stat rpgs and all, but ME is NOT one of them. Kickass combat and stream-lined inventory plz!
4. Please don't blow up my Normandy. PLEASE DONT DO IT AGAIN I WILL CRY! I just finally got used to the SR2 and I'm totally lovin' EDI so PLEASE! Or if you do, at least let us take a copy of her to the SR3! D:
5. The most epic storyline ever that will lead to me crying my eyes out and forsaking all other video games for the rest of my life due to it's sheer awesomeness.

1. Female Turians, Krogan.
2. Quarian and Geth Resolution.
3. Garrus and FemShep love.
4. Your pick of returning squadmates. Wrex is a necessity.
5. And of course the obligatory giant battle, in which the Geth (which no longer include any heretics for me) and the Krogan (who will hopefully be able to be cured in some way) and the Rachni all return and save the day, despite what the Council would believe.
And of course Tali's face.

I want to go to Earth. I had an idea that you have to save it at the final battle from a Reaper attack, but that made me think it was kind of like Halo 2.
Also I want to see the turian homeworld. That would be pretty cool, especially if Garrus has become a legendary bad ass general or something.

1. Awesome character reunion. (For awesome players who have every one survive.)
2. Epic Liara/romance continuation, if you didn't cheat.
3. Final showdown with whatever allies you have left and Reaper fleet.
4. Seemingly random space mysteries solved, and all other points of interest. (From ME1 and ME2.)
5. Ultimate sacrifice ending.

2. I want to know more about the "good" Geth. Maybe have Legion as a squadmate again.
3. Tali as a squadmate and love interest.
4. Garrus as a squadmate.
5. Give us the entire galaxy map, ME1 and 2 locations combined. Keep the galaxy map music.
