Does anyone have any screens of the vision you see on this mission? (Rosetta Nebula - Enoch - Joab)

I'm pretty sure I saw a collector in it (the camera zoomed in on it lol), but I just finished my playthrough (but playing it again would take some time and school starts tomorrow)

thanks

It looked like the same vision from the first to me, but with a Collector in the place of the Prothean, sort of signifying that the Collectors -are- the Protheans.

Yup, it was our friend, the storytelling device known as Foreshadowing rearing its ugly head.

Though curiously enough, you gotta wonder what Prothean was around to record a warning about the Collectors.

That's an interesting point actually.

Maybe it was a Collector who broke free of his indoctrination briefly. Like Benezia did when she gave you the intel on that lost Mass Relay.

Didn't it take hundreds of generations to get where they are now though? They look quite different as collectors than protheans. And I thought the average collector drone was sort of like a rachni, only enough intelligence to follow orders.

Which is why I want to take another look at the vision, lol

Perhaps Harbinger had some kind of weapon that turned protheans into collectors immediately. A synthetic plague of nanomachines that alter the DNA of its targets, perhaps?

Maybe the protheans are older than we thought and that vision is after the reapers had already ****ed with them

The way I saw it was Shep was just reliving the visions he saw from the first beacons. This time, the image of the, at the time, unclear prothean was made clear to be a collector. The vision was more clear than it was before because he had time to adjust to the images, and he actually has seen the protheans this time. So, it wasn't a new warning, it was simply the old one in which he properly identifies the protheans.

The warnings were sent by the surviving Protheans on Ilos, who woke up after other Protheans were Indoctrianted and reengineered as Collectors.

Surprisingly, this was mentioned in the first game, just not the name 'Collectors'.
