I don't mean because of the events that took place in your mission, but because the game is over. Looked forward to it for months, and now, 5 days after release, it's all over. I feel just... really sad! I mean, a few hours ago I was saving the galaxy, heart-pounding, nothing more important, and now it's just back to the real world. Anyone else feel like they lost a friend?

I'm sad only because ME3 is so far away.

Yup! But starting it over again really takes it away. Its like watching your favorite movie, or reading your favorite book again. Despite knowing what is going to happen, you still love it.

Play is again. Trust me :)

Sort of, as with all good things you hate for them to end. The good thing is I still enjoy playing over again.

I know, I felt nothing for him the first time, but this time I found it very sad how he finally gains control of his own body from Harbinger, only to collapse and be incinerated.

Same, he was looking around confused on what the hell was going on.

Meh.

Beat the game twice already. The problem is that there isn't enough to keep you playing after the suicide mission, and NG+ kind of sucks. It's an epic game, don't get me wrong, but there's no focus on anything after the final mission. So until DLC comes out, i'm done with ME2 for a while. Got halfway through a third playthrough, but I made the mistake of trying Jack as a LI, and what a turn off that was.

I think he was happy to die and finally be free from the reapers. That or he may have felt abandonned by the Harbinger. Either case is sad.

Oddly enough, I am not sad. I got too sucked into the game and if it had gone on longer, my schoolwork, diet, and sleep patterns would've declined even worse. I played it for 15 hours straight and my body started feeling a bit ill... normally I never get this involved in something, but ME2 was just too powerful and suspenseful. Not to mention, my adrenaline levels skyrocketed during the suicide mission. Couple that with not eating and the results felt bad.

So overall, this was an incredible game. I just wish it had come out when I didn't have school and that I had more food prepared.

Absolutely, I always feel that way after finishing a game with good character development. What especially gets me down is the transformation of all your party members from lifelike characters into lifeless husks... By that I mean that after the game is over, they have a very limited set of dialogue that they repeat over and over, since you've exhausted everything they have to offer through the story. After spending so much time interacting with these characters, it makes me feel terrible to break out of the immersion and be done with it.

I just started a new character. Little bit of sadness for something so epic to come to a close but playing a new character is way fun. This time I made a female shep second instead of waiting for playthrough 3. Is a good choice, the voice actor for lady shep is just as awesome as the dude shep.

I definitely do, I completed the whole game at 47 hours in. I only need to go back through 2 more times to finish everything out (complete Renegade and insane difficulty) it should take half that time now that I know exactly what to do.

I was trying really hard to avoid advancing the main story because I didn't want the game to ever end. Unfortunatly, it turned out there weren't many side quests and all of the character quests actually advance the main story, since they move you toward the end. I wanted to squeeze out every drop of play time before it was over. The only thing I couldn't find a reason for was inspecting every single planet just to see whether they were rich or poor in resources.

^^This. The first day, I sat and played it from 10 am to 1 am (15 hours!) without eating or drinking. When I finally stopped playing, my kidneys hurt :/ I think I was dehydrated.

Right after I beat ME2, I started a new playthrough. About half way through after picking up Mordin and Grunt, thats when I felt the sadness. I don't know If I was getting bored or if I was playing for too long. I'm about to get all the achievements soon (about 5 or 6 more) and after that, who knows..

Either I wait for more DLC or I will activate my 'Cryo Pod' until ME3 releases. Hmm, maybe I was getting tired. I was playing ME2 straight after work for about 7-8 hours straight. NAP TIME! -_-

I finished and I'm taking a break. The only thing I did in my first play through that I need to change is to make my shipmates stay alive, I did everything else but scanning (although I checked to see every world in the game for missions or rich ones) I only need 3 more achievements. I was recording everything in a notebook for my second play through. I probably won't start for another week. 47 hours this week is enough. :P
