On the second floor of warden's keep there is a locked door after you kill the demon, that says it cannot be lockpicked. I've tried conversing with the npc, and clicking anything clickable in the whole warden's keep area with no progress.

Is there a key to this door, does it require lvl 4 lockpicking, or does it have to do something with the weird pads on the ground? I've tried to stand all my party on them but they don't seem to do anything.

I've become rather frustrated because i have yet to find out if i'm missing something, or if this is a bug and i'm wasting my time.

Bump, if you've done the quest can you at least verify how you opened the door?

Did you kill the demon before she closed the veil/gate thing? You might want to reload and make a deal with her.

The rage demon on the second floor, with the dead wardens healing it? There's the summoning flashback/cutsceen and then it goes straight into the battle.

Oh maybe you need to look around the back room for another door.. there is someone/thing you need to talk to in order to get the door open.

If you're talking about sophia or w/e she's on my map, but the door to the shrine is locked so i can't go anywhere on the second floor. The only room on the second floor that i can be in is the entrance that you fight the demon. I've looked everywhere downstairs and outside for a key.

There are enemies behind the door that try to attack me every time, so im starting to assume this is a bug. I've gone through the every room inside and outside the castle, and haven't found a key, i've tried leaving the zone to camp and coming back, even using Shale to throw a rock at the door. I just says "Unable to pick" even with my bard with lvl 3 lockpicking and 25+ cunning

Oh that door. Sorry I thought you were referring to the door out of the tower.

I don't recall picking up a key for it, but that doesn't mean I didn't. There isn't a puzzle to open it. My rogue has lvl 3 lock picking, so if you have that and that didn't open it for you, there must be a key. You want to make sure to read all the books/notes lying around too.

... or you could be bugged. That sounds more likely.

I fixed it myself, had to load before i ever came to the castle, unload and reload the dlc and do it all over again. It seems to be a trigger that comes after fighting the demon, that my other save was never getting for some reason.

Yeah, after that battle Levi talks to you and then the door is unlocked.
