I love Loreena McKennitt.  "The Highwayman", "Lady of Shalot" and "Annachie Gordon" are some of my favs.

The Mummers' Dance and Caravanserai are probably my favorites, but there are so many good ones.

The Mummers' Dance is an awesome song.  I can't place Caravanserai at the moment.  I've got a long drive ahead of me today, so I think I'll pull out her CDs for the trip!  I don't know what it is with me and tragic love stories <3 for the other three songs... LOL   Now I'm not a fan of tragic love stories in my games, though.  I'm all about happy endings there!

"Dickens Dublin" "Standing Stones" "Santiago" "The Gates of Instanbul"

All in all though, La Serenissima is my favorite though... whenever I get writer's block, I turn that on and lay down for a bit, always helps me think. :D

I have way too much music, and I change my mind to suit my mood, but some stuff I've been listening to lately.

The Shins - "Saint Simon", "Know Your Onion!", "The Celibate Life", but pretty much anything from The Shins is golden in my book.

King Of Leon - "Use Somebody"

Black Kids - "Not Gonna Teach Your Boyfriend How To Dance With You"

Atari Teenage Riot - "Speed"

GRANRODEO - "NOT for SALE"

The Wombats - "Backfire at the Disco", "Kill the Director", "Moving to New York", "Here Comes the Anxiety"

Pale Green - "I'm In Blue"

The Pillows - "Bran-New Lovesong", "Last Dinosaur", "Runners High", "Patricia", "Funny Bunny"

Taniyama Kishou - "Daydreamin'"

Itou Kanako - "STILL"

Oh my lawd. I also want to send my love for McKennitt. Mummers' Dance is absolutely BEAUTIFUL.

I also am entranced by anything that Clint Mansell does. All of his music has so much raw power and emotion in it that I get bowled over. "Requiem For a Dream," "Death is the Road to Awe," "Together We Will Live Forever," "Sacrifice." All so yummy.

Another of my fave songs is "Hand That Feeds" by NIN.

Rob Zombie: "Living Dead Girl"

Sia: "Breathe Me"

Favorite Bands/Artists: Delerium, Nine Inch Nails, Coldplay, Amerie, Snow Patrol, 30 Seconds to Mars, Three Doors Down, Third Eye Blind, REM... I'm an 80s and 90s rock/alternative junkie.

Isn't the theme from Total Recall a rewrite of the Conan Gladiators theme?

Hmm, well, given how impossible this is, I'll go with my top ten of the last couple days:

Bob Dylan - Day of the Locusts

Buckingham Nicks - Frozen Love

Ghostface Killah - One

Metallica - Battery

Pangaea - Memories

Popnoname - Nightliner

Roisin Murphy - Footprints (so I approve, Lucy)

Serge Gainsbourg - Ballade de Melody Nelson

Sigha - On the Strip

Sylvain Chauveau - Loree du Bois

@Anacronian Stryx: Mew=incredible. I wish I felt as strongly about their most recent album, but Frengers and Glass-Handed are remarkable.
