I decided to keep it, never know when extortion may come in handy.

I kept it. Don't want to make rash decisions when you don't know the outcome. Besides, i'm gonna need some dirt if TIM decides to use the base i gave him for bad purposes.

Keeping data, considering that the data will either be deleted or recovered by Cerberus if I send it to the Alliance, not to mention the Alliance will take too long decrypting the data.

Lets just hope something comes of it. Nothing seems to have come from the cache of data you recovered from cerberus in ME1 during Kohaku's quest chain.

I'm hoping my decisions will have EFFECT in ME3. there are several other situations like this (eg genophage data) that I truly hope will reach some conclusion/have impact in the last installment of ME.
BTW I kept the data for myself. I tend to go the middle ground, all that can help stays in my vault, and every bit of info or situation that can undermine cerberus will be used with extreme prejudice
Gawd I hate TIM and his politics...

This. The outcome is major-league bull****, especially now that it's written the Shadow Broker sold us out to the Collectors. I don't think the Liara DLC will ever touch on the Shadow Broker returning us a favor when we need his/her help if we sold him/her the data.
