ME1 holds the undisputed chapionship title.
I don't know why they changed them so much, the scenes had some thought and purpose in the first installment. The second game just disapoints in this area. And btw, I don't want nipples or graphic nudity. I want more ME1 style love scenes next time around. Anyone disagree, or perfer the newer love scenes?

I think these new scenes were more focused on emotion.

My relentless space lesbian is VERY annoyed that Tali, Miranda AND Jack are all hideously immune to her charms. :|

ME2 scenes had more variety.
In ME1 the love scenes where all the same.
And Miranda and Jack's scenes topped the love scene you get in ME1 for everyone imo.

At first I wasn't too happy with what I'd heard, but after seeing more of the romantic scenes in ME2, I think they were pretty good (at least with Thane for me). I was fine with them NOT showing anything after the passionate kissing + dialogue. For each character, it does appear to be unique instead of being a complete cookie-cutter type thing like in ME1 (they were ALL the same). I've come around now and think it was fairly well done and mature in ME2. Still, compared to maleShep/Miranda...maybe I could do with seeing a little more skin from Thane, I mean he appears to basically be compatible with a human (and he does have pecs
). Still, I was fine with how it played out - seemed to suit him.

I much prefer the ME2 ones, personally. The ME1 ones were generic.

You only say that because you didn't get to see her face!

I think they all have their merits. They're just different.
The one in ME was pretty perfect if you ask me. Really beautiful and artfully done. They were all the same, but it was a really great scene.
The ME2 ones are also really good. Firstly, KISSING! They did it! They made lips actually touch other lips. I don't know if they could have done that in ME. And there is definitely variety.
It's just different depending on what you're playing at the time. From ME2 I like the Jack "fling" scene. Miranda's is also pretty good and Tali's is adorable. But those are three VERY different kinds of scenes. Each has a very different feel behind them.
In any case they were all very well done by the animators and cinematic designers.

Well, I can say the guys got more graphic love scenes this time around. IMO, of course. I haven't seen Jacob's love scene, but Thane's and Garrus's were both really sweet and did not involve any stripping, getting in the bed, or getting tossed around. Tali's love scene was closest to what Thane and Garrus's were like.
Still... I prefer ME1's love scene (singular, since it was the same for everyone, lol). It was simple and tasteful, and fit well into the feel of the game.

me1's love scene were artfully done but generic me2 was more real to life. They up the anti with miranda from me1 scene most definatly. But for which on is better,,,,,,,choice of prefernce more or less. i liked the miranda scene the most cause it was tasteful and left something to the imagination with out going to far

I thought Miranda's one was fairly intense, there was a little bit of actual humping going on.
Of course, nobody took their clothes off. For the most part, anyway. Probably the same reason as in Dragon Age, EA was afraid of everying throwing up a ****storm about it being a rape simulator.

I've only seen Tali's, so far, but it had much more emotional impact than the ME1 love scenes, IMO.
I mean, granted, the lack of T&A was unfortunate, but ten seconds of side-boob isn't important to the relationship at all. Removing Tali's mask while she babbles about how nervous she is, and then finally decides to shut up and jump you, on the other hand, is actually personal and, dare I say it, emotionally engaging.

ME2's are better.
That said, some in ME2 were definetly better than others. [thats what youtube is for] And Tali's could have been better. And yes i wish we saw her face, but barring that seeing some skin Miranda-style would have been nice too.
Didn't really like Jack's. Kinda weird.
Fem-wise, I liked Garrus's the best. But then he's one of my favorite characters.

I thought Tali's scene was sweet and very enjoyable...UNTIL they don't show her face to the player. Made me go:
"You ****s, you just guaranteed me buying ME3."
