I thought this was just the most awesome part of the game in terms of BAMF statements. I'm playing bad cop, and I make the third renegade interruption.

Shepard said something along the lines of "IF you don't tell me what I wanna know, I'll cut your balls off and give them to a Krogan." IMHO, that was just the coolest threat, EVER.

I just did every Renegade option and made Thane stay silent. **** was intense.

Elias: "**** you guys."

Shep: FALCON PAWNCH!

I did this earlier today and he spilled the beans on first Renegade choice "I'm a spectre", before we went in I took the middle option rather than the 'you be good/bad cop' so am guessing that is what caused me to miss out on the brutal interrogation. :/

It was funny though because Thane commented on it being the quickest interrogation he had known of lol

I think the interigation is broken.

I tried to be the 'good cop' and all my interupts were renegade.

I tried the bad cop and all my interupts are renegade.

Which option is supposed to have thane roughing him up? because i get no differance at all between the two options.

Is anyone else having this problem?

don't bother being good cop unless you have a high paragon score, you won't have the dialogue options you need

Narp, it's not broken. There are no "hugging" option during an interrogation. However you're presented with the opportunity of beating the hell out of him.

Not necessary though, being a good cop with high paragon rating opens up some persuade options. And even if you fail, you can get the info right after the lawsuit arrives.

The choice to be Bad Cop was Paragon. So I did that and three Renegade interrupts in a row. I didn't get any Renegade points afterwards (possibly because I got my hands dirty instead of Thane?). Going to try the other way around.

I like the option where you just tell him you're a Spectre and above the law, he quickly spills the beans and Thane says "that may have been the shortest interrogation ever".

Well i choose good cop and I haven't any paragon option in the dialogue with my 100% paragon score. Maybe it's a bug.

No... I don't think there is a Paragon option to interrogate him successfully.  You have to hit him or at least threaten him.  If there were a Paragon check that required a high score, the option would be there and greyed out; but I just did the mission again last night, and I noticed there is no Paragon option at all.

Same here thought I did get a persuade option the guy just laughed and called us boring and had to wait till the suit arrived so I could tell him I was a spectre.

Well, I chose the Bad Cop option and I also finished the interrogation in 2 lines with the "I'm a Spectre" intimidate option, so it doesn't seem to matter if you choose the renegade or neutral option beforehand. It does sound like I missed out on some great additional dialogue though, but yes Thane's comment afterwards was priceless.
Thane: "That may go down in history as the shortest interrogation ever."
Shepard: "And I didn't even have to punch anyone." (ok, so shepard didn't say that, but you can just imagine Female shepard saying it, it would fit right in)

This confused me a bit, why would saying you're a spectre be a renegade choice? And a high level one at that(The choices I'd made had got me mostly paragon by then, but I still had around 50% Renegade)? This might not happen for everyone I suppose but I very specifically remember the council saying they would reinstate me as a Spectre agent if I promised to shut up about the reapers and go deal with it on my own. So it isn't like I would be lieing to him.

I chose "good cop" because I wanted to see Thane intimidate him. Thane is the worst interrogator ever. He might as well have been saying, "Pretty please with a cherry on top? Just tell us what we need to know, I'll be your friend. Oh, come on, I said please!"

I waited through 2 or 3 renegade interrupts before getting fed up and telling the guy I was going to cut his balls off. We got the info. When we were done with the interview I wanted to say, "Thane, what the hell?!! Next time I'm bringing Garrus!"

I only had half of both, playing a paragaade (curses!), but the uinterrupts were fun. I'd love to play the good cop and see how Thane gets bad a ss with this loser. This was one of the best sidequests of the game, lol.

Same here! I had my Shepard choose to be good cop because I was like "Okay, who's this guy going to fear more? The galaxy's number one ASSASSIN FOR HIRE, or Shepard who, while a Spectre, is known for going out of her way to save people and give children candy and be POLITE to exceptionally annoying reporters?" I thought it was an obvious choice.

Then Thane gets in there and he's just all, "We need the information. We need the information." I was like "<_< You can't threaten to break into his house while he's sleeping and make his death look like an accident or anything? Jeez, I thought you were a morally questionable assassin."

Garrus would have had that info in two seconds flat.

Don't.  Thane is the worst Bad Cop ever.

I always like to punch him on first interrupt. Then hold back and wait till his lawyer comes all high and mighty like. Then tell him I'm a spectre. Can't get enough of the lawyers reaction to that.

I kind of like beating him up a bit and interrogating him until his lawyer comes in, and then telling his lawyer that I'm a Spectre and that he can't do sh*t (nicely of course). That way I get to give that scumbag an ****-whuppin' and he knows that all his raging over it is completely impotent and that there is nothing his expensive, high-powered representative can do.

If you import ME1 Shep and get back you Spectre Status, Renegade interrogation goes like this:

Shep and Thane goes in.

Shep: I'm a Spectre.

Kelham: Alright, alright. Its the turian. and he lives in the 800 blocks. DONT KILL ME!!!!

...or something like that. Takes about 5 seconds. No beating. No other trash talkin. No lawyers.

Thane is amused <lol>
