You just need 90% renegade to get the Spectre option. Nothing more. I've done it with my Shepard having declined the Spectre reinstatement offer.

Pretty sure it's Quinton Flynn, who plays a plethora of side characters, including Kolyat:lol:

if you avoid using any renegade options, the lawyer makes it into the room. but when he tries to "rescue" Kelham, you inform him then that you are a spectre and the lawyer says he can't do **** to free Kelham. (*side note: First time spectre comes up, it's a renegade choice. Second time at the end it's positioned at the 2 o'clock on the choice dial. Basically "good" but no paragon needed to choose it.) So Kelham gives up the name since he wasn't Shepard's target anyway. This was shepard being good cop and not doing anything but saying paragon things. Even, obviously, after Thane pulls u aside and says, "this is taking too long." I only did this because i was trying to create a truly paragon character for ME3. I should also note i have a Shepard game save that is truly renegade.... well mostly. hehe. > u still need loyal shipmates. lol.

Mind you, that's the Paragon persuasion at the end, if I recall. Otherwise, you have to pay him (or sell out Mouse?).



But really, that torture scene was entirely over the top and, well, my Renegades after that first time don't even do it, even if they can't do the shortest interrogation ever (which is also rather done, IMO).



I wanted to break out a truth serum, really. Doesn't Cerberus have truth serums?

This confused me a bit, why would saying you're a spectre be a renegade choice? And a high level one at that(The choices I'd made had got me mostly paragon by then, but I still had around 50% Renegade)? This might not happen for everyone I suppose but I very specifically remember the council saying they would reinstate me as a Spectre agent if I promised to shut up about the reapers and go deal with it on my own. So it isn't like I would be lieing to him.

Because Shepard is obviously using his rank as a Spectre to intimidate the hell out of Elias, hence the Renegade affiliation.
