everytime i try to boot the game, it tells me "This application has failed to start because fmod_event.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem." However, i have reinstalled it twice, and it still gives me the same error everytime i try to start the game. Some help would be appriciated.

This method worked for me: go to your dragon age folder, open the file with bin in its name (top one i think) copy all the dll files in it then go to C/Windows and open the folder System, paste the files in it then go back one step and do the same in the folder just below it (System32). This got it working for me, hope it does for you aswell

PS. i have Windows Vista so if you got another the folders may have a different name/location then i said please dont blame me =)
