i was thinking of building a solid model of the SR1 at school then printing it with our rapid prototyping machine. i just need to put together more references.

other than that i fully support a model kit, or a line of mass effect model kits, including the MAKO! (begs)

A line of model kits... Yes, that was something I thought about for a while now. I probably would buy the entire line immediately. well maybe over the course of 1-3 month depending on price and number of models.

I would prefer high quality plastics over resin only for the reason that Plastic is probably cheaper. I wouldn't mind resin, if it is high quality as well, especially with a low amount of bubbles.

Oh, crap. I went ahead and made a similar thread without seeing this one. Sorry.

I'd be okay with a model kit... I'd rather have a display figure along the lines of the fantastic Diamond Select Star Trek ships. Their Enterprise-D is a thing of beauty. I prefer this over a model kit for two reasons:

1. I don't have the time or energy to spend making a model kit look good.

2. Most american model kits are of fairly low quality. (Gunpla builder here).

I would kill to see a Diamond Select Normandy SR-2. I don't know if Bioware would even consider doing such a thing... but I'd readily shell out $40 to $60 for a decent-sized SR-2 any day. Hell, I might even buy two or three.

I'd buy an SR-1 and SR-2 model of the Normandy, and an Reaper, Destiny Ascension and also by an Shepard play-doll/GIJOE toy as long as he had ninty actions to do involving " I'M TIRED OF YOUR ASSERTIONS! " stuff.

All for sixty bucks a piece.

I hope this comes true since they acknowledge the idea of a normandy model in-game already

I'd pay a lot more then I'm willing to admit for those models. Recommended age too low? This is Mass Effect!

Someone posted instructions for a LEGO MAKO in the old forums; I'd show you a link but the instructions themselves have been taken down, due to the content being "forbidden to be shared." So maybe the franchise is considering its own take on the LEGO MAKO and co?

... I want a mini Geth, something sort of like those "Robosapiens" toys that did things, but a Geth.

That would be cool. Anyone here familiar with gunpla? They have special stands sometimes. One of the more recent ones (from Dengeki, I think) had the Gundam Unicorn's head as the base (it could "transform) with the arm of the stand going out backwards. Something like that with a Geth head would be really, really cool. I never cared for the Geth design in ME1, but Legion's design--particularly the facial animation and "eyebrows"--look really cool to me. I'd rather have just the head than a full figure, I think.

I'm personally a fan of Die-Cast Models so a DC Model of the ship would be awsome and would be a lot cooler IMO

There are not very many All-American companies anymore and I don't remember the brand name but my DC Mustang BOSS is high quality and came fully painted, I suck at painting (Shakey Hands and whatnot), and I know for a fact that it was made in the USA because the company that made the dies is an all-american company.

I know it's been said. But man, that is some masterful work right there. That right there looks just... wow. Looks straight out of a kit. Some people are just amazing.

This guy should present this Kit to the Lego-officials. With some persuation from Bioware and us, they might make this an available kit. =D

You sir are a genius! Instabuy if it would come to stores. LEGOs were my number 1 hobby when I was younger. Good thing I have them stored somewhere.
