Thanks. They're actually the werewolf eye texture. I'm thinking of changing her hair, too. She's at the very end of the game, though, so I might load up an old save and restart her. Mages are fun.

I've been playing around with different appearence mods. This one is really nice, and the author is working on another, sun-themed package as well. And this one adds most of Ren's Oblivion hair, with textures much closer to how they looked in Oblivion. I hope the author does the 2ch hair, too.

Shayaryn, I don't think I've said it, but your elf avatar is quite amazing. elegant but simple, beautiful in the same manner, and I imagine it took forever tweaking the sliders (in game or in the toolset) to get her the way she is. good job!

That's... Quite a compliment. Thanks. I have nine slightly different versions of her face morph. I did spend quite a bit of time on her.

Thanks for the tip (I'm a novice PS user). You are right...especially when the image is downsized. A font that fits the game theme would be nice (like the DA logo). Have any recommendations? Maybe a scroll type background behind the text would also be a nice touch.

Oh my... I may just have to buy the PC collector's edition version of this game!!! Though it's a shame... I've had my 360 copy too long to get back the full cost. Le sigh. The things one does for beauty!! But I've had issues with the 360, mainly being that it stops working at the worst possible moments.



I was hoping... could someone put up a link to where you get these wonderful mods? If I do get the PC version, I'd love a lot of these. I'm a huge fan of long hair, and the game has definitely needed better elf ears!! And some of these eyes are just gorgeous. And I love the mage Elena, with the forehead thing. It's beautiful, and very fitting for a mage, I think.



I wish I could post my newest character, a dwarf female, but she's not on my list of characters, nor do I know how to get her there. Ah well. Maybe later.

In an earlier post on this page, I posted links to a mod with some nicely textured long hair and the mod I used for the forehead thing. I'd also suggest Pineappletree's Vibrant Colors.

I'd say the PC version is worth buying, if only because of the mods. Dragon Age is still a new game, so expect some new campaigns coming up eventually. The Toolkit is very complex, but in time, there will be some great stuff out there. Most mods now are models, textures, and gameplay changes. There's a good but short quest mod out there, with voice acting, that adds to the original game, called Alley of Murders.

Of course, there's already body replacers out there. Natural Bodies is the biggest one, with Realistic Look improving on the original models and textures. There's also Amazon Curves, which is female only, though I'm not too fond of it, myself. No Natural Bodies variants have underwear yet. I use the female meshes and have added underwear myself. DA moding is very different than Oblivion modding, mostly because it's not currently possible to export new meshes with Blender. You can only replace current ones, but it's difficult to edit meshes, hence why I haven't touched the male version.

As for armor and clothing, there's only recolors at this point, but Moonwing has done some amazing armor and robes for mages. This armor mod is also very good.

And if you still play Oblivion... I have mods on TESNexus, under the same name as here.

Steevo72: I like the font Hightower, if you have it. If not, Book Antiqua or Garamond would work. Some sort of scroll behind the text would make it much easier to read. Try putting the Achivements and the character portrait on the scroll as well, at low opacity, behind the text. Maybe set the layer to multiply?

Thanks for all the compliments on my Elena. Her eyes use the werewolf eye texture in the Toolkit, if anyone wants to get similar eyes for their own characters.

The design was inspired by this mod here. I just used my own face for it though and used the toolset to make adjustments.

I used the toolset and didn't use the in-game creator.Pay attention to "Jaw Square Shape". When it is near 0, you get rounder features for the bottom of the jaw. When it is a higher number, you get more angular features. For males, I tend to make the number values much higher. For women, I almost always make it 0.
