LOL, he was actually supposed to be unattached (turned down Morri and stayed friends with Lel), but I knew I wasn't going to play another male PC for a while, so I figured I'll just see everything I can see in this playthru, and slipped Love Potion #9 into Lel's drink! x'D



So yeah, by canon he'd be unattached, so who knows! And Sylrien reminds me of Battle Angel Alita (a tall version)! If there was metallic facepaint available it'd be perfect! Ha, Sayide looks just like a waify Greek girl I knew in college, art major! She had long curly black hair, though.

@mochen- I'm fairly new to this thread so I haven't seen that one before. xD I like how delicate her features are. I could tell she was an elf without reading the description, so if you were intentionally going for a more elven look, I say you did pretty good. 8D

The fact that Oghren behind Mochen's girl mage is almost as tall, gives it away!
Thanks for complimenting Heimjor! As you know, the initial character creation goes a long way in molding the character's journey, for RP players like us! His game was so goody-goody, LOL! His face definitely isn't all intimidating/broody like a lot of the male charas here.
For Leliana, Morrigan, and Sten, I use the head morphs from this mod:

I don't use anything else from that mod, as I have no use for overpowered armor or the Sacred Ashes Badass Warden. Even though there are lots of quality face mods for Lel and Morri, for me this mod gives me the definitive interpretation. Try the mod and see if you agree! Sadly, Morri's face morph clips into her default hair when she laughs... but easily remedied by giving her Elvira hair!


Here's a video animated by the mod author himself, using the head morphs and armors he makes available to us in his mod.  Simply epic. 

Look at his Sten and wonder no more why Snotra has a crush on him!   xD

@Mlai- Nah, I'm laying off the mods and other fancy stuff in fear of breaking the game. I'm happy enough working with the "bare essentials". xD It's very tempting though.



@LadyAly- I like the contrast between the tattoo and her skin. I have to try that out the next time I model a Dalish elf. o3o Having the ears poke out is particularly appealing too; works a whole lot better than the default flat ears, I imagine.

You exploit local files if you have a PC copy of Dragon Age, basically. I'd seen other people with custom avatars and figured out how they did it on my own. Not sure how "legit" it's considered on the boards, even though several people have also accomplished it and the mods don't seem to mind if a small number of us do it.

I am reluctant to explain the details in "public" though, because it makes it more likely someone could find the answer and abuse the exploit with inapprorpiate images or mods might worry it would lead to such and crack down on custom avatars. I'm not accusing you of such intentions of course, Mlai00, but you never know who's reading the forums and not posting.

But I'm also a very cautious person by nature, soo... Yeah. Sorry, not going to give the secret away on this topic.

I think I've finished "the Gladiator". Here's Marcus Cousland:


I did some adjustments and fine-tuning... Now he's got some scars to decorate his already rugged face, something to remind him of the day he left Highever. Peaceful and calm by nature, now he is a bitter man with a bleak outlook and little trust. Much to his own dismay, Marcus discovered that bloodshed and killing ease the feeling of agony and comfort him in his loneliness; and he hates himself for it. As a person he is steady, stubborn and reliable.

Will he be consumed by his hunger for vengeance and his grief-fuelled lust for blood, or will he find the peace and love he desires and rebuild his life?



Uhm. Perhaps a bit drastic, but I got inspired...
He's not very good-looking, and not very unique either, but I think he got that personal flavour, in my opinion anyway. I am satisfied.

Obviously it involves replacing the imagefiles and forcing a reupload.
