Was your Version 2 made from scratch or did you modify your Version 1?
If your version 2 was made entirely out of scratch..then..yeah..you have to start over again.
If it is a character you saved in the Dragon Age Origins Character creator and you can go back to it to make tweaks..then...you don't need the toolset and you just make the changes on there.
As for the skin tones and eye tones, I was mentioning, here's what I was talking about.

When you go to a slightly darker area than the Brecilian Forest, all the colors will come together.
Brecilian forest= Very bright lights
Orzammar= red background
Sacred Urn= light blue background
Kokari Wilds= dark yellow background
Broken Circle and Mage quests = dark blue background
Denerim= extremely bright lighting
The best places to take pictures of your character are in Orzammar and the Mage Tower.

I think I recall how I worked with the freckles.. I used one of the mods that replace original tattoos, but renamed the freckles tattoo files. They don't show up in the in-game creator, but no problem to me since I don't use it.

@ Gaius Octavian - She looks good, but I think I still prefer version 2. She had the personal touch!
@ Petehog - Good advice for everyone there. I find that if you place the characters back towards the sun you can get a better screenshot, you don't get nasty shadows cast all over the face then.

@Gaius I really do like the last version of your dalish - keep that
@LadyJess She looks hot, a bit humanly, but very hot - and without a doubt outstanding
@7th _Phoenix Well it is me I guess - but the eyeshadow is to strong darkblue for my taste. I like the Random more.

Haha, I was going for a "spunky look" and I wanted her eyes to sort of pop given her black hair. This is the only character I made without mods and am pretty proud of her turnout. I just wanted to her stand out in the DA universe. The Random one was a similar facial structure but with casual make-up. Thanks, though.

I am currently in the process of making my own makeup mod. Something that adds a bit more gloss to the lips.
As I stated in an earlier post I am getting PC game so I can do this... can you tell me what mods you use and any tips?

Ok, new warrior, was inspired by stacymc chars story, wanted to make a char who's story is still in progress, so i present Caliel.
Caliel Cousland, caring, kind girl, who became good friends with Iona, but after seing her friend killed infront of her, most of the people who she grew to know lay dead, and suffering a slash at her face from a howe soldier after guarding her mother, she has become a harbinger of vengeance who's story is still folding as we speak.
Also posting a old fav of mine, sorry.

Haven't posted here in some time. I don't have any new characters, though I have new shots of my first one.
Here's a few shots of Revaan that I think came out well.
At levels 4 and 34.
I remade Velanna. I got inspired by the Jaheira hair, as well as some of the characters posted here. Velanna's nose was bothering me; it's so pinched in the vanilla morph. How does she breathe? I've never used any replacement companion morphs, but Velanna needed it. She kind of looks like a cross between Jaheira and her original face morph. You know, I was just playing Baldur's Gate a little while ago, and Velanna really doesn't sound like Viconia to me, even though they share a voice actress. Huh.
Great elf -- how did you do the clothing? and what mods for face, etc.

Original Nanette is far superior. yes, sorry Petehog it is very disrespectful and very arrogant to think you can copy someone's charater. Not a very good copy. I agree with mochen and Presence. I would be offended if you do this to me.

They're both pretty good.
One looks a bit more realistic.
How did this all start exactly?
