I think the current hairstyle fits the character. If you think its too "generic" (which is nearly impossible to avoid, given that all of us are working with the same two dozen hairstyles from the game & one or two community mods), then the change is up to you.
EDIT: if you're looking for additional hairstyles & such check out this link:
www.dragonagenexus.com/downloads/file.php
If you want a crapton of additional skin tones, vibrant eye color updates, & the like, also check out:
www.dragonagenexus.com/downloads/file.php
www.dragonagenexus.com/downloads/file.php
Supposedly the second link's mod has the white tattoo color in it, but I haven't figured out if its working as intended.
If you've yet to do any modding with Dragon Age, ask & someone can probably point in the direction of a good mod manager program. Most file descriptions on Dragon Age Nexus have pretty simple/clear instructions on how to use the override folder, & if you're using a mod manager its even simpler.

Oh you chose Mirabelle as the winner?
That's made my day now!
Anyway, scrapped the Anora idea, you were both right. Her face just didn't suit the character somehow. So I just made her into a regular character.

Someone else might know, though.
For the most part, I've been trying to do all the facial fixes in the toolset, maybe add a tattoo if I can, then do all the other fixes (eye color, hair color, hair style, make up) in the CC, since all of my additional resources show up there consistently.

I've been cutting the time spent on faceworks, and I recon I will quit
it for good in favor of some other, older hobbies such as sculpting and
painting. So I figured I'd contribute a bit more than just pictures, so
here are the .mrh files of my faces, made user-friendly by removing any modded content. These faces can be altered with the Toolset, imported in-game, used in mods, or as "base" files for your own faces.
It can be found HERE.
Here's an overview of the faces:

@ Mochen, she's pretty, not quite Anora though. But another lovely face nonetheless
@ Presence, fantastic work!

I worked on some more random stuff. Wanted to make more Orlesian 'baldies' but I figured that might become a bad habit. Tried drawing my own tattoo, it's too thick atm and I need to work in other channels than just the Red one so it doesn't look like poop on a stick.
But I was semi-productive, and I apologize for lack of participation in this here forum topic, but I've been napping a lot in the daytime and it makes me feel groggy and awful. This is what I get for ceasing my pattern of 2-3 daily walks!
http://sarah.durhey....inacousland.png
Marina was another hopeful Orlesian baldie, who turned into a Cousland. I can't finish the Cousland origin literally 90% of the time because when the goofy larder music triggers I explode into fits of ISHOULDAROLLEDADWARF.
Someday I'll finish my Alyse playthrough, but I felt she wasn't "business-like" enough a gal for me. I want my Cousland to kick ass, fall in love with an Antivan Crow, and steal the throne from everyone ten times over.
She's /that/ sassy.

... which is why I'm *still* in the damn toolset. Making her. Rawr.
EDIT: just realized I never said anything about the screenies! I like the first shot especially. I'm finding its very difficult to do smaller faces, & you seem to capture a lot of expression in it. The second two were all funky angle-wise, so it was harder to use them to judge.

My favorite origins, btw, are always going to be female Aeducan and Brosca, followed by the Mage origin, especially if you can mess with Cullen, make Jowan blush, and then proceed to rebound from them onto everyone in your camp. What!? It's realistic, I swear.
G'night! Tomorrow, more testing with tattoos for meeee. Hope you all have a great one.
Oh, btw, nineteenth: In response to your edit, I gave pretty extreme angles to show specifically how large I made her nose. Haha. I am all about prominent noses on human females >.>

This is my very first warden, though he looked nothing like this first time I played him. He's gradually shaped up into a Duncan-look-alike-but-not-quite. This is obviously a Cousland rogue.

My 3rd warden, named after and inspired by a certain someone from SoU. The (relatively) discreet tatoo is a recent addition.

Finally, my latest creation, whom I have grown really fond of for some reason. I tried to give her face plenty of little imperfections, yet I find the final result prettier than anything I'd done before. Maybe it's the freckles. You be judge.

For your scathing critique & viewing pleasure, here's the next version of Taes.

As seems to be the case, her toolset rendering looks nothing like her CC model, which in turn looks nothing like her in-game model, but I think she still looks more or less as intended.
My main problems right now are her lips. I think I'm okay with her eyes. Maybe the nose could be a little wider at the tip. Most of that is based on just looking at her head-on. When I glance at her sideways, I can't tell if her profile pisses me off or if its just the camera distorting things slightly.
So. Hit me with all your little nitpicks. I'll probably lighten the make up shades a bit in the next version. Maybe.
[runs off in search of more caffeine]
EDIT: & oh! The damn *ears*. Why does BioWare insist on placing them so low on the jaw line & then making them look all awkwardly elvish when you decide to shift the placement higher. Any suggestions there? Or do you just suffer with their default lowered placement & ignore that ears are growing out of your character's lower jaw?
& yes, i know that using Morrigan's hair with a dark hair color makes her damn near a Morrigan clone, but there is *no* other hair style that meshes right with her or fits the character. If there's any suggestions on that, please, I'm all ears. I prefer short-cropped/pixie kinda cuts for my rogues.

Personally I find her jaw is a bit on the wide side, which makes her look manly-ish, but maybe that's actually what you were shooting for.
Nostrils could be wider as you noticed too.
About the eye makeup, if you haven't already, you may want to try one of bidelle's skins with the well-defined eyeliner and tone down or remove entirely the bigger, blurry, Bioware eye-shadow you are currently using.
Tatoo, eyes, brows, hair, looking good IMO.

& I love Laelynn. The freckles look amazing (much better than what I remember of the only freckles mod I've seen thus far). I think honestly my only suggestion with her is to use the regular eyebrows, not the thinned ones (if that is, indeed, the case). There is a girlishness to her that is brilliant, & having just those slightly thicker eyebrows would strike the perfect balance between her delicacy & the tomboy that her freckles & reddish hair suggest.
Great work.

I think part of your problem with the jaw/ear thing is that you raised up her jaw too much, you might want to try to lower the jaw, mouth and nose a tiny little bit to keep the proportions more or less the same.
I'll try that. I'm going to lower the ears slightly, to get rid of some of the hair clipping I've got going on right now, so I might just live with it. If I lower the jaw too much, I might lose some of what I was going for.
Personally I find her jaw is a bit on the wide side, which makes her look manly-ish, but maybe that's actually what you were shooting for.
Honestly, I ended up turning to Ms. Natalie Portman for a fair bit of inspiration for Taes. While it maybe could be softened & narrowed slightly, what I wanted was that strong but femine jaw that both Natalie & her lookalike Keira Knightley have in common [check here for absolute genius along those lines]. For a shot of Natalie I referenced initially [with bonus eye makeup!] check the middle photo here.
Nostrils could be wider as you noticed too.

I've got Bidelle's stuff, & I'll take a second look at the more defined eyeliner. Currently using one of them for the slight under the eye shadow that's present, & then using the BioWare default above the eye. Personally, I don't mind the look. Its a little excessive, or can be, but using just the black & keeping the intensity down works for me, at the moment. Thanks for reminding me about the other Bidelle eyeliner, though, I'd forgotten about it. I'll give it a demo, at least, when I roll out Taes 3.0.

So if I don't write any special about someones posting its simple lazyness - cause all in the last couple of hours is awesome.
I feel the need to mentioned some things, though
@LadyJess and @Presence You both let me weep again, that I can't get the toolset to work.
@_Loc_N_lol_ Your Laelynn is wonderful refreshing - She looks so *pure* I really think this is an outstanding Char you created here.
Now I present my - *again* changed version of MaryAnn Cousland. I'm still working on her, I'm not sure if I will keep the hairstyle and or the glossy lips ... here are 2 solutions.
(( if someone is interested in the progress she made - look simple some sides before - there are 2 other versions ))

@ Conzuela - Marina has a sort of tomboy type look to her. Just a suggestion, but have you tried the white teeth mod? I think the horrible yellow teeth the game gives us are probably quite realistic..but not pretty! haha
@ Loc_N_lol - I think the second one Misha is best. I like how you've done her eyes..she looks dead serious! Oh and yay for freckles!!! I have used freckles on some of my designs too, they are so cute!
@ mynineteenthtry - She's looking good, but perhaps her jaw is a little on the wide side? It looks disproportionate compared to her thin nose.
@ LadyAly - She's the best version yet. Oh and I found out how to fix the white streak in that hairstyle. You need to move the hair colour slider to black and it will fill in the gaps

& here, for s's & g's, is something that has come from said trail & error:

V for Vendetta, anyone? She'll look a bit different once she gets in game, but it is a little interesting/funny to me that she looks the most like Natalie when her head is shaved.

Thanks, glad you like them!
@Conzuela
Thanks.. and hehe... Take-away faces indeed...
@Mlai00
You're welcome! Have... err.. fun with her.
@_Loc_N_lol_
You've got a nice personal touch to your characters, I really like the first and latest one.
@LadyAly
Your second version is better in my opinion and..
Weep no more, or at least weep a little less, for..
I uploaded a Preset version of the face collection, the toolset is not needed to use those.
It's here if you're interested (or anyone else).
Sorry for the shameless advertisement!
