Thanks ^^ "Pretty good"? Any hints for making it amazing? ^^
Lol, well don't take it wrong, it all comes down to personal taste, really. I'll give you my 2c, but don't fix what's not broken. Pretty *damn* good.
And yay for Alleria
Nanica : she's a cutie alright, I'm just not super fond of the hair style.
Varian: I find he looks somewhat effeminate, which may be exactly what you wanted or simply my own perception. At any rate I rather like my male PCs to look more, err... 'unambiguously manly'.
Magni: The look suits the description very well. Personnally I'd have blended in a more 'mature' skin complexion to increase the severity of his look, but maybe he cares too much about his skin... see previous point.
Aarya: Well she kinda looks like one of my mages (also a mostly goody healer) and I was quite happy with her look too (except I had messed up her chin and couldn't decide on an eye color, but w/e), so I really have nothing to say. Good job.
Muradin: doesn't inspire me for some reason.
Alleria: I'm not sure about the nose, maybe it's the perspective,I like having the nose tip slightly up rather than down on cutie/girly female characters. But those eyes... <3
Kael: Well he does look antipathic, which given his background is fitting. Looking good.
Lynnore: Same, really. Not 'pretty' of course, but well done and fitting.

About Varian, yeah I wanted him to fit the origin. He's being called "pup", raised almost as a prince by his caring parents. He's good in fights... but the fights he has been in has only been sparring with friendly people. So no battle hardening, no hard life to scar his pretty prince-like-face
I don't generally like that look in men (my own boyfriend is a fuzzy beardman) but in games like these I tend to go for the most "fitting" and challenge myself to make the most fitting face ever ;P
Magni's skin is something I knew most people wouldn't like. But I just found myself more comfortable with that look. He's pretty, but evil ;D
Hmm, the Muradin-opinion is kinda different from everything else I have heard about him
Alleria's nose is something I like alot with her, frankly
Interesting points there!

you like manly men doing manly things like killing small animals and drinking light beer? (anyone know what that's from?)
Caladhiel: I'd try thinning the nose bridge and lips, as well as narrowing the mouth a tad. I'd also tone down the ears some. there's elvish, and then there's having your ears get caught in motorized wenches
TriggerHappy: some of these creations can be made in the CC (with mods obviously), but a lot of these are toolset babies. Admittedly, I'm getting into the toolset creation a bit myself.

Not fond of the hair (yeah you may see a pattern emerging here, there aren't that many hair styles I actually really like, though I reckon the authors put up an impressive piece of work).
The face is neat IMO.

Would like some feedback on the next pic, if you're willing to offer it.My character-to-be for my next playthrough: Lleira, CE warrior. I've only ever completed one elven playthrough (Dalish) because I hardly ever manage to get elves right and always end up quitting sooner or later (I usually never get past the CC). With Lleira I'm still not absolutely content; I think she's quite pretty, but she looks sort of like... well, like a human with elf ears, to be honest.^^
Any thoughts?
I don't think she looks human. I think she's quite well done actually. I find elves hard too. Bioware seems to think they need to have flat features. The eyes are always either semi-bulging or flat against the head, lips too, it drives me nuts and it's very hard to adjust to suit your own tastes.

I would change the hairstyle to perhaps the same one Alleria has... it's more tidy
@TriggerHappy64
I made Aarya in the CC, with mods.

You're right about the mouth, I'll definitely try that out! As for the ears... she does look as if she might take flight any moment now
[Actually, I tried downloading the Toolset to see if I could maybe get it to work in spite of my absolute lack of PC knowledge. Problem is, the Toolset doesn't seem to be working. Apparently it's a well-known issue according to the wiki, but it's definitely not something I can handle on my own.]
@Loc: I know what you mean about the hair. The hairline is just in-your-face and the ponytail thins out too much. Still, I like the actual hairstyle as it emphasizes the face
@LadyJess: Thanks! The thing I find most irritating is the chin, or to be more precise: the curve between mouth and chin. In the CC there's no way to adjust that, it SO annoying!
@VirusCat: Thanks! I don't think I have Alleria's hairstyle though... or do I?? Have to go check...

Ok I can't search anymore, so I'm asking here...where does one find glossy lip tints, maybe not super shine but just a slight glossy effect. Whatever I can get.
It will be up this week. The file is called Dragon Age Redesigned Version 6.8. I am aiming for Saturday or Sunday.
It's going to be a pretty significant change to many factors in Dragon Age.
It will have three big changes.
1. Photo-realistic eye textures.
I personally do not like the eyes that are in the stock Dragon Age. I also do not like the eye mods that are available now. Real human eyes do not shine and have fiery lights. I am a stickler for realism and layout and I have a solid understanding of hue, saturation, contrast and textures. I went back and revised some of the old problems with the first set that I released before. The eyes will be specific to realism. It will have 5 shades of blue, 5 shades of green, 5 shades of brown. I spent hours on making sure that these eyes will look realistic and will look like the eyes you see when you look at a person's face.

2. Makeup
I did some research on what lipstick colors are commonly used among women. These colors will only contain colors I felt would work for various skin tones for females. It will only work via the toolset, so this mod favors "toolset artists" rather than those who use the in-game engine.
3. Improved Dragon Age Characters
I went back and added new versions of some of my character designs for Dragon Age. They won't necessarily be "pretty", but they will fit the voice actor, dialogue, and the writing of David Gaider. Everything from the Kokari Wilds to the Broken Mage Circle every resident living and breathing in Denerim will have much more realistic renditions. It will be unlike any other face mods that are currently available. It will be more focused on realism and lore rather than just making everyone "dolled up".

I was going to ask that too, I like my DA as it is, I just want more eyes and makeup. Though...Realism is so not my forte as we can tell by my characters...hehe.

All of the files would be under one installer, but I will make it very customizable and easy so that people can choose what they wish.
ie.
1. Dracomies True Textures (contains the textures)
2. Non-companion NPCs (contains realistic versions of anyone who is not a Dragon Age companion..with the option to choose between Lore, Aesthetics and Recommended.)
3. Companion NPCs (contains all renditions of companion NPCs)..including every design I have posted in this forum..ie the white-haired Zevran.

The ears, I know..... I don't really mind the size - if they just wouldn't stick out so! <_<
Ethereal is good! Never tried it myself, though, as I try to make my chars seem at least a little realistic ingame. But ethereal is definitely a challenge, maybe I'll just go and try it out.....

@Caladhiel: honestly, don't change a thing. The ears are perfect, they extend from her jaw line & narrow eyes, & are key to giving her that elvish look. The eye color you chose is perfect, as well. Elvish design in DA, at least in the community, seems to hinge on the details to make them look like more than just "humans with pointy ears." For me, at least, you got all the details right on her.
Wow, thank you so much! And don't worry, even though I think she does have protruding ears, I won't be able to do anything about it.

first character I beat the game with, Yvaine:

my next runthrough, Rhaelyn:

and, I dunno yet, Nilara:

widened the nose and face a bit, as suggested.
what program do you use for getting several separate images together? can't really find one.
