The problem with your 2 charas on this page are their mouths. The mouths are too small making them look like tense kissy-faces. The lips don't look proportional. Other CC authors have shown that small mouths can have full lips while looking relaxed and natural. You have to work with the limitations of the CC.
Oh, and your mouth isn't small. It's full.

Isn't he handsome?

@GirBoBytoms: Mlai is totally right. Plus, the eyes are a little odd as well, unless you intended a surprised look. Tweaking the shape/size/position or not using eyebrows would probably help. It's only my humble personal opinion.

@Sutebe: LOL, he looks like he got hit with a shovel in the face. I don't mind, posted silly things myself, but surely someone will mention this is inappropriate in this thread.
Are you saying he's unattractive?

@Mlai00: And yes I know, I said my lips are full that's why I say I always make all my characters with larger fuller lips I subconsciously put a little bit of myself in all my characters hehe

@ GirBoBytoms - The elven design is improving imo, keep working at it. Here's a link to a thread where I and some others have tried to help with creating elven faces:

I hope some of it is useful to you!

Decrease the fullness/size of the lower lip, and then push it inwards a bit to give her a hint of an overbite. See what that does for her face.

He had to be, I've played him through twice and spent maybe 100 hours with him on the screen. I didn't want to look at an ugly Warden.
Here is a picture of him by artist MaevesChild (DA)

I also wanted to post a couple shots of my elf blood mage Alucard. For overall look I intended to make him appear vampiric, gothic, and possibly a bit androgynous. Interview with the vampire esque perhaps.![]()

He definitely looks like he could be from an Anne Rice novel
Another component of my preset package, this time a human male. I haven't finished tweaking him yet, but here's what I've got so far. He may not necessarily be pretty, but maybe a little handsome? In a Nathaniel Howe sort of way? Maybe?

This one I took during a cutscene. Sorry if it looks a bit unnatural. I had to brighten it cause the original shot was so dark...

And here's a human noble character I made just for the heck of it. I tried to make her look half Asian.

Different hairdo...

@ Schratty - I don't think the baby soft skin suits him very well, perhaps make him look a bit older? I would be tempted to give him a hint of stubble growth on his cheeks too.. just to make him a bit more manly.
His chin is a tad square as well for my liking, perhaps try rounding it a bit and see how it affects the design? These are just my personal opinions obviously... the design has a lot of potential.
@ Olives - The first design is pretty. I like her small features (I do the same thing with a lot of my own work) she looks very cute!
The second design. Wow! yes the eyes really stand out. The face again is nicely proportioned. Her eyes are unrealistically large though. Amazing concept... but for me, the look doesn't quite work. Don't take that the wrong way. It's good to see new ideas

@ mochen: Thanks for the input. I did try to give him rougher skin, but it seems it was not enough to register in the screenshots, so I'll definitely play with the sliders.

@Olives I also must cosign with others in the notion that your first design is very cute, angelic even. Her features look proportioned well, nice work. Your second design appears very, hmm alert? Of course it has already been said but simply resizing the eyes is the only problem, quick fix. Also it may just be me but with that first hairstyle I can't shake the image of Uma Thurman in Pulp Fiction.
