I'm sure many people would enjoy and appreciate them as presets

Heres my design for Anders, wanted to make him the tattoo to make him more mage like, and used a custom skin to make him look more different and appealing, don't like bioware inital design so experimenting with different looks, plus I took off that gosh awful ear ring, it reminded me too much of duncan lol XD
yah... try right click and view image to take a closer look (this is my warden version by the way) trying to show some Anders love lol
I dig the hell out of this mage. Personally, I've never been a fan of forehead tattoo's except on the Castleless and Dalish, but I like how the entire piece isn't overly pronounced and blends into the skin and stubble well.
And I agree, I love that hairstyle but hate the earring attatched to it; My characters aren't a buccaneer durnit!

And here's a human noble character I made just for the heck of it. I tried to make her look half Asian.
Different hairdo...
Just as an aside, real asians don't have anime eyes.

LOL pointing out the obvious now are we? Here I was thinking all Asians have anime eyes... thank you for the enlightenment, sir.

You also need a face with a triangular chin. Check my entry on the previous page for a reference
And the obligatory spiky hair

(This was a design I posted before. Just made some tweaks to the eyes to make her look meaner.)

This is what I got so far, though I still think she looks a bit cookie cutterish. It's just a temporary preset as I have yet to figure out how to make it in addition to the original 8.

She needs to look like an experienced warrior. Not necessarily to fit the origins of the game, but rather this is being used for someone drawing this elf. Also her has an undead crime against nature. Everything is better with zombies.

I think Petehog does it with custom skin textures... somehow he gets rid of the "chubby cheeks" that all female elves seem to have, whether you use the toolset or the CC.Petehog wrote...

That is a very, very good thing
Petehog, give her the mage staff that looks like a tree limb, and I swear that could have passed as a Jaheria teaser for BG3. Looks fantastic btw.

i think its just favorable lighting. Face is lit so you cant see the shadows that outline the cheeks

It's actually not favorable lighting.
As an example, if you download Dragon Age Redesigned, and look at the female elves in the project, much of the elves are designed very differently from Bioware elves ..ie Gheyna, Iona, Velanna version A, etc.

Well, the character is already in a game and i dont know how to change the appearance of an active character
It's impossible unless you made her with the toolset and have an mrh-file you can edit.
No ma'am, it's very easy.
Download Python 2.4 or 2.6 from www.python.org. Install it on your computer, you never have to actually touch the Python program, so stash it wherever.
Then download http://www.dragonage...ile.php?id=428.
This will create a file that you run to swap character faces during gameplay. What you do is click on the 'Source File' option, and then find the save of the character who has the new face you want. Underneath you click on 'Destination File' and click on the save game you want to swap the face to. Hit the big green button and viola, faceswap midgame.
