I have an issue with this website. A while back, just after I got Dragon Age, I created an account here to find out how to redeem the DLC promo codes. I learned that I needed an EA account with the same email (and fixed an existing one so that that was the case), and learned that my password, since it contained non-alphanumeric characters, would not work. So I fixed that and finally logged in in Dragon Age, and then everything went to hell.
Since then, I have not been able to log in to my primary account via the web interface (making it totally impossible to redeem DLC codes). I created a new account with a different email address just to ask about this problem. What happens is that every time I go to log in, it redirects me to create a new account. If I do that, it tells me the email is already in use (duh). So, I can't log in since it wants me to create a new account, but I can't create a new account since apparently the old one still exists (even if I can't log in to it). If I try to recover password, it just redirects me to the EA site. The password in question works just fine in Dragon Age or for the EA site--it is only here that I have this trouble. Obviously, this is very annoying, and I would really, really like to fix this (if for no other reason than I really would like to be able to post here under my preferred user name, to say nothing of the DLC codes I'd like to use).

AFAIK, if you have already used that username, there's nothing you can do. I'm tired and a little out of my game, so to speak, but the only solution I can think of off the top of my head is to start over from scratch. Alternatively, contact EA support and hear if they can help with the password and see if that fixes anything.

If you don't mind, how would I start from scratch? I could see no way to readily delete an EA account from their end. Would I have to contact EA Support?

That's the problem, you wouldn't. You would need a new EA account on a separate e-mail address. There is no deleting EA accounts.

All right. Luckily, I *do* have another account I can use right now (obviously), and I've just finished activating ME2 and am downloading the DLC. I suppose if I have any trouble convincing Dragon Age that it ought to be registered to this account, I can contact support.
EDIT: And thanks for the help.
