All settings at very high with 4x AA and 1920x1200.. I must say I was pleasntly surprised Image IPB

I guess having a midrange gpu (Radeon 3850 512) and 4 gig ram makes up for a low end cpu! Awesome!! I was scared I would be only able to play at low or medium settings because of my cpu (Athlon64 3400+ 2.2 GHz).

Also for those having issues with ATI cards remember to get the latest drivers from the ATI website.. I had some artifact and flickering problems before I updated.. now everything runs great!

There's a message on the "plain" old forum from the owner of a K7 XP 2400 with an X1950 Radeon playing the game at what he considers an acceptable 20-25 FPS.  It would seem that the developers exaggerated the CPU demands, while underestimating the GPU requirements.

It runs and looks great (to me) at 1920x1200 on my low spec machine...

I'm running it on an Athlon64 3200+ (2ghz) with an HD4670 512 and 2 gigs of RAM, with everything set at max (although no AA).

There is hope for us paupers....

I've upgraded an XP of my own from 1 GB to 2 GBs to test the game on.  It only has an X850 XTP in it compared to your card, and even compared to the XP 2400's X1950, it's a generation older.  But mine has a Barton 3000.

I'll be mentioning it somewhere in-forum eventually.
