Well then. Did you stay loyal to your previous 'love interest' or did you  completely forget about them? 
Personally I was/am planning on staying loyal and haven't made any 'moves'  yet but Tali gets more interesting and interesting while Liara was shockingly cold. 

I'll probably just 'try' to ignore any temptation and go for Tali on my second, probably Sentinel, playthrough. Tough, tough! (But I bet ME3 will have something interesting in store...)

I wasn't during my first playthrough. I do plan on having at least one character that remained loyal.

I had planned on staying loyal, but after talking to Liara and seeing how much she had changed, I didn't feel the need to anymore. Especially since she wanted revenge on the Shadow Broker because of some new guy she apparently had a thing for. She didn't seem to give two ****s that Shepard was alive and well.

I created a new character in ME1 last weekend that had no romantic attachments specifically so I could have a clear conscience while I pursued Tali as an LI.



(Wow I sound crazy).



Ahem. Anyway, I think that would qualify as loyal.



We'll see how I do on a save from ME1 with Liara.

uh, that 'new guy' was the drell Feron from the comics if I recall correctly.



and that would be the dialogue you get if you choose correctly in her missions.

The ME1 LIs were good for the first game but are stale and boring compared to most of the ME2 LIs. They're getting cheated on each and every time.

I didn't have a love interest in ME1 with my femshep. I'm currently facing that problem with my male character though. Any suggestions? I'm thinking about Kelly. Before I played ME2 I was planning on sticking with Ashley throughout the trilogy, but the way she acted pissed me off.

Perhaps... perhaps... I read the first half of the comic (don't think they sell the other 3 around here) and it Liara's reaction did made me very curious to what exactly happens after that first part... I did feel a little betrayed though, she seemed to care more about losing that friend than Shepard. Add to the fact her first opening line scared me (the one where she threatens that 'customer')... I don't know. Definitely want to see how it turns out though.

Thane and Garrus made it difficult because they were so well-written (and Kaidan was a jerk) but yeah I remained faithful. About to start a fresh game without an import so cheating won't be a problem. Now do I want to pursue Thane or Garrus first...

I thought I was.....just wanted to be close to my assistant...she's my PA, Yeoman, I need to get her take on things...and I have fish to feed..... those are her jobs...sheesh, be nice once and she spams your inbox....



not that I mind but It still makes me feel guilty... Adena Shepard is loyal to the end.. but....lets hope Liara understands * lol

My main character, a femshep remained true to Liara. Though had SuZe, Tali or Miranda been LI for a femshep there would have been some cheating going on.

Ash's reaction struck me as completely in character.

ie, she's a ****, was a ****, and will remain a ****.

first and 2nd play through yea... granted a fem shep has some ( imo ) lackluster option for romance

Yes, on my main character. I always play through the game the first time as the good guy, then again as the same character but as his evil other self.



(I liked the way Ashely acted, nothing like a little alien racism to really instill a sense of realism ; )

I actually have a ME1 save where I didn't romance anybody, and I'm doing the same thing, using that save to romance Tali . In my first game I stayed loyal to Ashley, really hoping they advance ME1 LI into ME3 which I'm sure they are since they said betraying your ME1 love interest will have consequences.

PS: Just to make sure, if on the night before the final mission, if Shepard is in his captains cabin, and walks up to the picutre of your ME1 LI on his desk and stares at it, that means you stayed loyal right?

I cheat on the human LI's because I don't like Ashley (created a game with her JUST so I could cheat on her, I'm evil), and while I like Kaidan, him being a dick to my renegade femshep wouldn't sit well with her from a RP perspective, so I went with Thane (but BLEW it on the love scene, GOD I WAS SO STUPID, oh well, hope it counts as them still being together.)



My Liara LI's though, we'll see, I'm unsure about the male Liara game, because he probably wouldn't cheat, but he would be endeared to both Miranda and Jack possibly, but it's theoretically possible. My femshep with Liara will stay faithful though, because I RP her as a homosexual character and Bioware gave us no options for that.

went for Tali, despite having Liara in my first playthrough.



will most definently playthrough 1 and 2 before 3 comes out (right before it comes out) and make sure there was no cheating.



though i'll keep both saves to see how they'll playout.

They included that scene?  That's AWESOME!  Now I'm excited for my faithful playthrough.
