I stayed completely loyal to Tali. Nevermind that she wasn't 'technically' a romance in 1. I felt a stronger connection to her than any of the actual RIs they had. And that paid huge dividends in ME2 with how the Tali romance blossomed.

I do find it amusing that Ashley's picture flipped down, now that I'm courting Tali (or she's courting me)...although I'd rather just change the picture.

I'm just thrilled not to have someone reciting poetry to me, being a blue-skinned Mary Sue, or whining endlessly about the "rough" biotic training that allowed them to kill people... with their brain.

WTF? I had her as a love interest and she never told me all that. I just replayed from a save and that option doesn't come up.

Maybe she only explains all of that if you're just friends or female?

All I have to say is:  whoopty doo!  They're still boring characters.

The Liara love scene is still 10 times better than that.  It was hot and not silly.

Garrus and Tali were my least favorite ME1 squadmates and I still don't like them. It was really easy to stay loyal for my femShep:wub:

My male Shepard, while upset at Ashley's reaction on Horizon, understood where she was coming from. Her later message eased some concerns, and he stayed loyal to the end - though he had to ****** off Jack and break Tali's heart in the process. Apparently, Hasani Shepard is an unintentional pimp.

I laughed too.

Tali was about the sweetest, romantic option in both games on either sex (Liara is the only one even remotely coming close). The Garrus relationship was awkward but born of the deepest friendship. Honestly I wish Kaiden had been as good as Garrus. My wife is still complaining about how wishy-washy Kaiden was. That makes for some interesting conversations, let me tell you...

If Liara has a big mouth in ME3 about me cheating, then I'm gonna put a freaking boot in it. My space lesbian shep was loyal to Liara, waving off advances from Jacob because she knew she'd see Liara again.

Then she finally does, and Liara gives her the cold shoulder.

She's about to go off on what's been described as a suicide mission. What's she supposed to do, mope in her cabin all by herself, the few hours before the battle? Bleep that.

I'm importing my Male Paragon next, who had a relationship with Ashley. If she gives me lip, she gets dumped too. Miranda >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Ashley anyways.

In the conversation with Liara she made it seem like her "friend" was a little too special. I thought she had already met someone, and she was cold because both of her loves had bitten it. Whoops.



It was my original intent to stay faithful as soon as I saw her photo in the cabin. I assumed she moved on because I missed the dialogue tree.

OH yeah, great.  Wine.  That just pretty much seals a relationship, Garrus' romance scene was completely ridiculous.  It was like a big joke, there was hardly any real love there beyond puppy love.  You can argue that that's even more special, but it just didn't strike home like it should have for me, anyway.

Whining endlessly?  Kaidan did not WHINE ENDLESSLY.  Why does everyone SAY this?  What makes Tali or Garrus so much more original than Kaidan?  You call what Garrus said about Sidonis anything other than WHINING, my GOD, he never STOPPED.  Even after you resolved it he whined for a little bit.  But Kaidan talking about biotic training is whining?  Because him killing his mentor in defense of a friend does not merit whining, but Garrus being an idiot and getting his squad killed does?  He was no more boring than any of the other character, his story was well-developed, deep and he did NOT whine.  I'm sorry he doesn't look like a dinosaur.  But dang!

Tali is better than Miranda, Ashley or Liara.  I'll give you that.  But Kaidan did not whine.  You want whining, go play KOTOR and try romancing Carth Onasi.  Same VA, you'll really see what you missed.

Wow, I actually said all that finally.  I'll probably regret this in the near future.

Pretty sure I will be able to convince Liara in ME3 my flings with Kelly and Jack either meant nothing, mention the whole suicide mission thing or just plain lie!

My main character was heartbroken about how her reunion with Kaidan went, but she's willing to give him time to come around. She'll always be faithful.



My other characters... not so much. They all have short attention spans.

It will no doubt be interesting to see how that works. I stayed loyal to Liara my very first play through cause I hit most of the dialogue just right with her. That isn't to say Miranda didn't make me drool just a tad.On my second playthrough I romanced Miranda... and my third is focused on Tali. I didn;t catch it the first two times through but when you listen to her audio log on Halstrom... she says in a very wistful voice I wish Shepard was here. WOW!!

She can moan all she wants in me3 but hell will have to flash freeze first before I give up Tali

I fell for Jack. I actually came to like her better than Ash. And before the usualy "she's all nuts" begins, I mean the serious thing, behind the lines.
Well, well, my other male Shepard is still commited to Ash, so I'd say I weren't loyal... a bit.

Oh, anyways to those who said they stayed loyal to Tali: Did you have a romance in ME1? Because if you did, you were never true to Tali. Just at the time, you couldn't sleep with her which made you choose someone else. Just mentioning.
