I didn't romance anybody in ME1 because my opinion of ME1's LIs was not favorable, and I only really had one option, which was basically Kaiden. I wanted Garrus in ME1, didn't get him, and now that I have him I get the distinct impression that I'll get the shaft come ME3 because Garrus can die in ME2.

Not fair. Bloody not fair. Here you go, you can romance Garrus now - just don't expect him to return in any major capacity in ME3. That just ain't right.

yeah. if it's not turned down you should still be regarded as loyal.

when I got to that point on my first playthrough shep did that staring scene over the picture of Liara, so I assume so.

Yes.

Fem-Shep not interested by any new LI means only one thing: loyal to former LI.

I romanced Ashley in ME1, because she seemed like the better of the two. But...the ME1 romance options were awful, because I hate both of them, so I didn't find it too hard to stray into the arms of a Quarian.

Looking forward to telling Ashley off while Tali hangs from one of my arms in ME3.

My male character romanced Liara in ME1 and I was genuinely worried about how downplayed their romance was in ME2 until Liara broke down in her office at the end of her small mission chain. It was only a momentary lapse but it pretty much reassured me/my Shepard 100%. The looking at her picture before going through the Omega 4 relay bit just emphasized that it wasn't a waste of time staying loyal, in my opinion.

Yes but because i am a femshep driver the choices were unappealing to be kind. I still think that as a FemShep driver Liara was the only real viable choice. Miranda is almost enough to make me run a DudeShep, the thought of staring at man butt for 30 hours for a 30 sec cut scene not a worthy trade off, i will just go to youtube.

Yup. My first and main Shepard was loyal, if I complete any other playthroughs they will be on a different profile/character where I start from scratch and have no attachment to Kaidan. I had every intention of staying loyal, and the brilliant emotions seeing Shepard ignited in Kaidan even after two years made me and Shepard love him even more.

Is there a way to make Ash actually dump you? I went with Jack because Ash is stale and boring.

I didn't stay faithful. Sorry, but with women like Tali and Miranda available, and Liara acting so distant, I had to take the new cyborg bod for a test drive. Besides, Tali really tugged my heart strings in this game.

Well then. Did you stay loyal to your previous 'love interest' or did you  completely forget about them?
Personally I was/am planning on staying loyal and haven't made any 'moves'  yet but Tali gets more interesting and interesting while Liara was shockingly cold. :P

I'll probably just 'try' to ignore any temptation and go for Tali on my second, probably Sentinel, playthrough. Tough, tough! (But I bet ME3 will have something interesting in store...)

she has a good reason

Thing is, I still played it from Shep's point of view, not mine. All he knows is she became an utter ****, and that is not the person he fell in love with. Now Miranda.... she has so much hidden under her cold demeanor that when she opened up to Shep, he totally fell for her.

I'm a fanboy when it comes to Liara so my paragon was true. My renegade...well lets just say he is the type that will get around. :)

Nope, I played all the ladies. Its a video game, thats what its for. I stay loyal in life, thats about it. XD

In ME1 Ashley and Liara fought over me, ME2 I had three girls, even better. Miranda seemed the more logical choice and she could actually make ol Shepard happy in all the important ways at least. Ashley was dumb in ME2 anyways.

I too made a manshep with no romance just for Tali. My femshep will run through twice, once staying true to Liara, the other sleeping around as much as possible.

I don't think so, not in ME2 anywayz, maybe if you cheat on her in ME3 they said there woudl be consequences so I'm sure she'll be pissed. But, per ME2 she sends you that email apologizing for being a **** and says she still loves you.

I dropped Liara and went for Tali as soon as I had the chance. She would have been my pick in the first game anyway if she was an option...

I had Ash as an LI for my Cannon Shepard. After running into her on the colony, and having asked everyone about her her attitude put me off. I understand that she was devastated by Shepard's death, but what exactly was he to do about that? So no I was not loyal, and went over to Miranda.

Unfortunately I lacked the willpower to stay loyal to my right hand. I went with Miranda (no, I didn't simply switch to the left hand).

Ash was my ME1 LI as well. Miranda seemed a fitting rebound, after a large amount of gratuitous flirting with Kelly (what can I say, I'm a sucker for redheads).

Once it was obvious Tali would be romancable, I made a playthrough of ME1 with no LI.

So yes, technically.

Never cared for Ash or Liara anyways.

Only ever picked Ash because Tali was not available. With Ash being so mean, the switch was pretty easy.

Well, that and I needed to take a few "Messiah" points off. I had my Paragon score maxed out by the midpoint of the game. I figure a love triangle is a good way to make things a little less Sue-ish.

My Shepard is completely loyal.

The last part of Ash's message clearly displayed that she was uncertain about the future of their relationship.

Uncertainty does not equate to being dumped. Image IPB

Problem for me was I didn't check the message until my Shepard had already made it clear he was interested in Miranda haha.
