What's the matter with Bioware and the walking option in their games?
In Dragon Age, your companions can´t even follow you at a normal speed,
they have a stupid "run and stop" attitude. In previus games, you have
to find tricky ways to walk, like activating certain abilities. ME2 is
the last step in Bioware´s way to a perfect no brainer game.
I
enjoy exploring the scenaries and having realistic attitudes in towns.
For me, running in certain places is an inmersion killer. I have no
idea what the hell was wrong in ME1, beause they have changed the
sensitivity of the stick to a extreme of being impossible to simply
walk. It goes from grandpa´s speed to jogging, there is nothing in the
middle. I just can´t do it in a consistent manner.
Damn, even in
Gears of war you can walk. It has nothig to do with the genre of the
game. Apparently, it´s a subliminal way of telling you "there is
nothing to to see here, keep running and shooting".
Conclusion:
My copy of the game if waiting for a patch. A very easy one. Bioware,
please, configure the sensitivity of the stick like 90% of the games,
the casual boys that believe they are playing an action game won´t
notice it.
