Hi everybody!
I just bought ME2 (boxed Collector's Edition), but I won't be able to play it until tomorrow when I get back home where I have my PC that can handle the game.

Here's the thing: I use internet on my laptop, and I don't have the internet conection with my stationary PC. Now I have the DLC codes and I was wondering how it works - if I'd enter the codes here, on my laptop through the internet will I be granted to download some .exe files (same way like a patch of sth?) and just transfer them and install on my PC with ME2 and will it work no problem? It would be cool if it was like that, coz' if I'd uninstall the game and keep the downloaded DLC files (and the save files naturally), I could install all of'em no problem any time and just play the game...

I know some girls are great with computers, but I'm just not that great, hence my questions :) Just wanna be sure before doing anything the wrong way...

Thanks in advance! :)

If you have the codes, log-in to the Bioware social with the account you want to use (I assume it's this one your posting here with now), then redeem the game here;

http://social.biowar...es_register.php

and the DLC codes here;

http://social.biowar...redeem_code.php

Then they appear as a downloadable exe file under your profile here http://social.biowar...ntitlements.php

You should be able to download then on one machine and copy then to the other, then run each file to install that content. However you may still have to connect to the social site once with the machine you want to play on to enable it...not entirely sure about the mechanics of that as my machine is always connected...

thanks for your answer! :) helps a lot! I can connect my stationary PC to the internet via a cable but it'll go through the whole house, I hope it will be just one-time-check ;)

oh, one other thing - because the more I read about ME2 problems the more I'm getting nervous that something will be wrong with m copy. Is it better to manually download the DLC (as mentioned above) or through the game? If I'd do it through the game will I be able to find the downloaded .exe files on my pc to have it for future use?

For the codes that I've actually been given, (still waiting for the rest), I've manually downloaded the exe's, run them (which went through OK and said sucessfull), and then copied them to another location (backup) for later re-installation if required.

This has appeared to work for the items I've got so far - hope that helps.
