[The other is a water melon]

 After the IFF mission, the scene where EDI tells me that the ship needs to do scans before it is ready, pops up before i land at any planet. Then the screen goes black. I press enter and then the side panel shows up with the planets info and the dock button but nothing else. This time however when i went to the galaxy map it played straight away before i choose a planet and now i cant do anything because when i press enter it doesn't do anything  <_<

Has anyone else had this problem? does anyone know how to fix it?

Ugh, I have the same problem as well. I've tried talking to everyone on the ship, saving multiple times. When I step up and use the galaxy map, i get a small cutscene, then black screen. Every time.



Guess I'll try to go back to an older save and try again some time. Won't be tonight though.

If you modifed/overwrote your load movies (to shorten load times), replace 'load_f13m.bik' with the original one. That should fix it.

Friend this problem took me hours to solve, in my case could solve by copyingthe video files (zipped file named "movie") of the game cd1 folder for videos of the game where you installed it in my case the path was: program files> mass effect 2> biogame> movie, then just replace everything ready by the cd1 andsolves all the problems black screen and also with respect to loads. I hope this helps.:happy:
