It depends on the character I'm making. I can say that, so far, I have used nearly all of them for my characters. I have reused Mystical and Violent the most, though.

Do you wanna date my avatar, she's a star, and she's hotter than reality by far~

*cough*

I mostly used cocky and mystical. One experinced, one suave...

I think I recognized the Violent male Elf voice. Was it Yuri Lowenthal?

Don't think his voice works with this game but that depends.

Really should stay dubbing Japanese game.

The "Experienced" Elf sounds like Mark Meer. If that is him, his voice acting skills have improved greatly.

I choose mystical. Seemed like one of the more normal ones. :)

I like Violent Male, mainly because of this quote:

"Thus I cloak my naked villainy" - taken from one of my favorite Shakespeare lines.

We have religious zealots killing mages left and right for the Maker, but no high-strung evangelist voiceset?! I'm Appaaaalled! I saaaayyyyy appaaaalled!

But more seriously, I agree that the voicesets are very similar. I fear I'll have to stick to Experienced for any male dwarf or any human male that's over 30.

i don't think the voices really matter that much since you won't hear them that often. i remember in BG i always chose the one with the least whiny saying for *about to die*

I wanted to use suave for my male rogue, but he sounds so not like what I would imagine a rogue would sound.

I went with suave, because I always focus on persuasion and plan to go Bard. The voice options are a little disappointing, not that much difference really.

Sultry's accent is awesome, I think I used cocky and Experienced the most, but I liked them all, I noticed a nice difference in all of them.

well, I used all of them, but wise was probably the one I used the most

I noticed that only dwarves had the "smart" option in them, it's just in my CC or someone else got it as well?

For me I going to try them all. So these voices are for when our characters are in battle? I notice our characters dont talk, only the npc (video footage)

I went for experienced and is it just me or does it sound a little like male sheprd in mass effect?

haha, always a possibility, even if I don't think smart people would be killing themselves because of politics, or have a caste system, but maybe it is just me Image IPB

there were also some race that had a "suave" tone of voice, instead of "sultry" but I think it's the same thing (even if suave in portuguese means smooth)

Whatever suits the character. The one I've used most often I think is violent.

I didn't like any of the male voices but experienced seemed the most mid range one so i picked that one

I like the dwarf ones (both male and female), though I didn't really like the elf voices much. Human ones are pretty decent too.

depends on the character mainly but among the female human voice sets the only one I find serviceable is the violent set as it's the only set that does not horribly misshape the characters' mouths. . .much.
