I flirted with her at every opportunity, saved her from the collectors but still no cut scene. How did you guys(assuming it was succesful) unlock that scene?(the one where she dances in your room).

You've got to deny everyone else basically. Then you automatically get the email from Kelly.

I found it quite disappointing and ridiculous personally. All that it does is have Kelly come to the cabin wearing the Asari stripper outfit and do a dance, sit on Shepard's lap or lie on bed. It's just animations - no dialogue or anything.

Would it work if i denied jacob now and then get the email from kelly?(I finished the suicide mission btw).

don't judge ME2 romances by Kelly. she's strictly a casual thing. the others have more to offer.

Yeah. Kelly is more of the "asari Consort" casual fling. She's not a full romance.

I like Tali's build up better then any of the others. It just feels so real. She even has a really emotional responce if you are romancing someone else along with her.

I was judging jacob actually as he was the only one my femshep romanced. Its funny how he is half naked and femshep stays clothed the entire time.

The romances in ME2 lacked depth when comapred to the first game and DAO.

It works. I just broke off with Thane, then I got the message from Kelly. Right after checking it the intercom is activated. Kelly lying in bed with my femShep now..

well i dunno about Jacob specifically yet but i'd have to disagree on the count of Jack or Tali. one thing that bugged me about Jacob was the raw lust Hale poured into her voice for the romance dialog for him. i mean if you want to romance him, great, but i just wanted to be friendly to him for that playthrough.

I'd have to disagree, at least as far as Garrus and Tali are concerned. I'm still working on more characters to see the others so I can't compare, but Tali's romance is much more emotional than any presented in ME1 and several in DAO.

Well you have a point, i have yet to romance garrus, tali, jack or miranda but i guess it is unfair to make that conclusion based on one LI(jacob).

Tali's romance was the best I've seen from either game, although I really liked Jack's. Just something about saving her from herself that hits home with me. She's similar to women I've been involved with in real life (they were less violent of course), so I think there's something about my personality that's drawn to her. I found the paragon scene with her to be very touching.

I discovered something this morning I didn't realize: I must have really not liked Ashley in the first game, because I have 4 male ME1 end saves.  3 of them have Liara as LI, and the other has none (so I could romance Tali).  I'm hoping I missed one somewhere, because as much as I love the first ME, I'm not sure I want to play it for a 7th time just so I can experience life with Ashley in ME3.

Yup, post game. After breaking off with the dude, check your unreaded message. If you flirted with Kelly enough, there should be a message from her, then you'll get to invite her to your cabin.

Is there a list somewhere of characters we can date with male/female Sheppard? Romanced no one my first playtrhrough, now i'd like to take Tali to my cabin with my Jane Sheppard, dunno if possible (she said that she'd like to link her suit with mine the first time though).

You can't romance Tali with a FemShep but you can become very close friends.

Tali is not a romance option for a female Shepard.



I believe the choices are Miranda, Jack, and Tali for a male Shepard, or Garrus, Jacob, and Thane for a female. Kelly and Morinth are available to both but are special cases: Kelly isn't really a "romance", and Morinth kills you if you sleep with her.

Thanks.  I actually found another save stored-away on a flash drive that I had forgotten, took care of the problem.  It's not a level 60, but that doesn't matter much in ME2 now that I've finished it, with the 25% xp, credit and resources bonuses from the achievement.

I deliberately brushed off Garrus, Jacob, and Thane at every opportunity. None of them give me any more dialogue options now the game is complete. I had dinner with Kelly and she feeds my fish, how do I get her to send me the mail?
