I haven't completed ME 2 yet, but I miss the party-customization and the skillsystem of ME 1. I even miss exploring planets with the Mako! The atmosphere, the story, the dialogue-system in ME 2 are great, but it doesn't feel like an RPG anmyore - it seems more like a step back. The last time I had this feeling was when Ultima 8 was released. Ultima 7 was so complex and for part 8 Origin/EA took out so many elements like a party, day-night-cycle, world interactivity etc. It didn't feel like an improvement to Ultima 7 but like a step backwards. And I think a sequel should be an improvement. This is the same with ME 2. The systems for party customization and a more complex skill system were already there in ME 1. Why take it out?
Therefore for ME 3 I would like to have:
- more party customization - let me equip them with armor and other gear.
- more complex skill system
- trading
- please no more ammo-collecting by walking over the ammo.
- different ammo for different weapons
- let me mix up armor like in Dragon Age (helmet, breastplate, gloves etc.)
- exploring planets
- inventory
- more useable items, not just weapons, ammo and armor - I would imagine something like in KOTOR
I really hope that ME 3 will be much more RPG when it is released.
More RPG the next time, please.
