 I herd that Mordin dies a lot randomly at different points in the mission. Could I use him as escort because apparently the escort has high survival rate. Has anyone used him as escort?

Yes. Use him as escort and he doesn't die. I have seen maybe a hundred posts with combinations of team member assignment, and none of them had Mordin killed when he was on Escort. Unless I've missed it...



Personally, he did just fine as Escort for me.

Bleh, there is only one guy I would consider about sending alone in enemy territory. Grunt.



But he stayed alive fine for me as long as you just dont choose him for anything.

I just used Mordin in my party, after using Legion in vent's, Samara for barrier, Zaeed for escort and Miranda as 2nd squad leader and I won, no issue with anyone dying.

I have him loyal and got him his omni tool. Im probably gonna use him as escort to ensure his survival.

My first two tries Mordin died when holding the Collectors back. When I put him as an escort, he survived. I'm still confused about that.

I for my part used tali as escort, ofc my li had to have the highest survival posibillity

....or should I use Grunt or somebody else for escort and just keep Mordin in my squad the whole time. Which one is safer?

If you think about it, it makes a bit of sense.

Holding the collectors he is staying in one spot facing a brutal assault.

Escorting the crew, he is on the move and so can just make a run for it if need be.

That is how I figure it anyway.

I just herd that Tali dies sometimes randomly during the holding of the door. Should I bring Modin with me for the last boss and let Tali be the escort? Mordin has some pretty useful powers. I dont know if Tali would survive being an escort though. And finally, does how long it take you to do stuff matter in the survival of your team? Since that might be a bit unfair.

Eh, I had no casualties at the end. Sent Jacob back with the crew. Took Tali and Samara with me.

I used Thane as my escort since he is used to stealth and assassination work. I figured he would be able to lead the other out safely. I used Tali and Legion when facing the final battle, the rest of my crew survived holding the door. No idea if time taken matters. At first I was wary of the green battle bar in the final fight, but I soon realized it decreased whenever I dealt the boss damage.

I have to choose who to be escort. I guess Im going to choose Mordin. I just wanted to know if he would survive....
