I DL the Stone Golem, got Shale from the from Honnleath. I've been to all the Thaigs and I can't get Shale to open/mark the new area. What do I need to do? Also the search feature on your site won't let me access it nor will it let me post a question on the forum to ask what I need to do from other players. I find your sites very hard to navigate/use. You should have help links on every page. In game there is only 5 saves, that really sucks. I wish I could go back before I dl the content to try again but I can't because only 5 saves and I'm past where I dl. Why so few saves in this game? Most games have almost unlimited saves.

Shale only speaks about the Thaig when your approval is high enough, and you have completed "Anvil of the Void". If you have done the later then keep trying conversation options to gain approval. The companion quest should open up eventually.

Shale also likes 'Remarkable' gems. Try bribery to raise approval. Assuming that you have completed the 'Anvil of the Void'.

Shale's quest does seem to be a bit glitchy. On my current run, I got the quest, got the area marked, but when I went there, it was all cleaned out and the quest no longer appeared in either current or completed quests.

If you've completed Anvil of the Void, and sided with Branka I would suggest not talking to Shale until you can effectively lie(Coercion).



Approval with Shale has to be very high(80+) to get the conversation.
