This bug will force you to reload to your previous save. Go to the upgrades terminal in your ship and stand just in front of it. Hit the key "m" and immediately hit "Space". The upgrade screen AND the map will both pop-up. After that, you can't leave the upgrade screen and you're stuck there!
This need to be fixed!
