I am (as well as someone from the Gamespot Forums) having an issue with yellow video. It covers the screen during a majority of cutscenes and makes the first part of gameplay unable to navigate.  Below I have filled out the required specs from the sticky. Please help. This is the first game I could afford for a year and I really love the first one. Thank you.


1.      Mass Effect 2 (PC) - Physical Disk, Collectors' edition. Mass effect2.exe = v1.00

3.      Problem Details

a.      When it comes to problem details, think about the five basic questions. Who? What? When? Where?
Why? Okay, so “Who?” doesn’t really apply here, but the others do.

b.     What? What is the nature problem that you’re seeing?
Screen is completely yellow, only allowing minor visibility in the menus, subtitles, and rarely, some flames (where applicable)

c.      When? When does the problem occur? Every time you engage in a particular action or only
after so many hours of play?
This problem start immediately in the main menu, making it very hard to read. It continues on to the first cutscene with the Illusive man, stops in the Normandy, but resumes being bright yellow when Shepard is in the cutscene and immediately during gameplay, rending the game unplayable.

d.     Where? Where does the problem occur? Is the problem localized to a particular planet or does
it occur everywhere?

e.     Why? As much as possible, can you isolate the problem to a specific set of steps?
In comparing my experience with a youtube video of the opening cutscene, it seems like the issue occurs when an excessive amount of orange backlight fills the screen (when Ashley is looking for Shepard, When shepard first plays on the lower decks, the Illusive man).
