I save very often, and I've had my XBox 360 HDD for a while now.. even still I know hdd's can fail for a number of reasons whether new or not and on top of that, I like to backup certain epic points in the game, as well as decisions that seem to be important, and possibly later revisit them. I do this using a memory card sold by Microsoft for the XBox360.
The ME1 Importer save backed up fine.... all of my ME1 backups are there, yet ME2 says that it can not be transferred between devices. wtf is up with that? That is a feature specifically built into the XBox 360 not to mention was available for your game which is two years older than this, why not this one?
Why in the world can I not back up my individual saves? And don't say it's because of hackers/cheaters boosting their gamerscore, that doesn't have anything to do with the average consumer. I doubt there's a great reason for it, maybe someone looked over some coding.... but what is the work around without having to buy a transfer kit or hacking my 360 because that isn't going to happen. I am not one to complain much.... but this is actually annoying and regressive, hopefully they can patch it.

Totally agree, i have the same issue. Im on my 4th console and wouldn't be surprised if i have a new one by the time ME3 comes out (plus im intending to move to canada so may be forced to buy a new console). I tried to back up the game save to my memory unit and like forza, it will not allow me.
