I was a little shocked to see that ea.com is listing the PC download
version of DA:O Awakening at $39 when the PC retail version is $29. Is
this right? I would have thought the download version would be the same
price as the retail version. I find it a bit bizarre that they aren't.

If I find the whole PC pricing thing strange. Apparently it is going to be $30 retail at EA.com, and everything else is $40.

I assume the expansion would grant us a long and somewhat epic quest the same way the core game did... if not I would say they should sell it for max 20 bucks.



The idea of EAs way of selling things yet is a mysterium to me.

Mah, whatever. EA doesn't have much going for it, except it's effiecent shop and downloader. I'm just happy they made it the proper price for an expansion, at least in some form!

You would think the download would be really cheap, considering no packaging and DVDs to make and such.

Except that the retail version is MORE expensive than the download version.

Where are you seeing it for $29? I've just surfed around, and the only price I've seen is $39 for either the disc or a download.
