Yeah i know I know, its been posted like 237 times, BUT what else are forums used for? Discussions for everyone.
Anyway to the point. What is it you want in ME3
I personally don't care but PLEASE bioware... please
Do not do an ending like Halo 3. That would be so predictable. Shepard dies or goes MIA. I would hate that. I doubt bioware will do anything like that but whatever.
Also what kind of consequences will happen for your new LI. I personally was going to stick with Ash and not persue a new one, BUT she left me. She was mad at me, I told her the mission and there was a chance I would not come back. HEr loyalty to the Alliance was greater than her allgiance to Shepard. So really how would you feel if your lover just left you and didnt support you. I know the message she sent you was an apology but what is that? Shepard would be right by her side if she needed him. So really, I hope they make it so that Shepard isnt the only one who she feel bad. But anyway thats one thing I hope. I hope the confrontation between old LI to new one will be interesting. Especially if its Tali.

I want the gameplay of Mass Effect 2 mixed in with more dialogue / storyline, Mass Effect 2 was a great game but their seemed to be a lack of meaningful choices throughout the entire time.



Oh? I can shoot or spare this one guy I don't know? And this is the best-decision at the end of the mission?

MOAR GARRUS!!!!! Specifically, I want to see him shirtless once. This is not purely fangirl; I objectively want to know what Turian anatomy is like. Krogan, I can imagine. Salarian suits don't leave lots to the imagination. But even Turian civilian clothes are so bulky.

And female Turians. I really hoped they'd be in this game. Alas, hopefully I'll get to see one in the next installment.

I want Liara to die. I didn't like her when she was a bookish ingenue, and I like her even /less/ as the psychopathic killer she's apparantly become. (Oh, and what happened in the book/comic/whatever I missed? Because apparantly some SERIOUS stuff went down with her that completely 180'd her personality.)

I want Shepard to duel the Turian Councilor and replace him with Executor Pallin.

I want Thane to be alive.

I want Samara to stick around. Biggest badass on a ship full of badasses.

I want the Kaidan and Ashley romances to be reinvigorated.

I'd like the mineral finding stuff completely nixed. No driving around looking for bumps of rock. No /tedious/ scanning of planets for some FREAKING EEZO!!!! Just bump up the amounts we find on missions or let me buy the stuff from markets. Or at least make the function to find them halfway entertaining, like the bypass and hacking minigames (which aren't the Best Things Ever, but are quick and easy and I don't really mind them.)

I didnt mind the scanning but maybe make the scanin radar a bit bigger. It does get tedious scanning for minerals, but i did like it

Needs Garrus and Tali back, and hopefully more dialogue from squad members, theres not alot to chat about and they dont chat as much as ME1 generally.  Oh and more side quests, I finished ME2 way too quickly and I explored everything out there.

Dont want that scanning or resource farming to be in ME3, its killing the ability to replay the game for me, in fact its more making me play other games in general.

really?  Odd, because when you start a new game they give you 50k of every resource right off the bat.  So instead of scanning whole systems of planets, you only have to scan maybe 4-5 Rich planets

Tali to be romanced by either gender. Come on Bioware, yo can hook up with Kelly, At least leave it so it's "Implited" that they can get together. The chemistry between them was just as apparent playing as a guy or girl.

More landable planets and larger areas to explore on the planets. Also, a MUCH bigger Citadel like in ME1 and larger cities.

My Mass effect 3 Wishes have been Plaguing my mind since I finished Mass 2. There are alot of ways they can go, Seeing as how 2 could end. I really want them to go with a Punish and Reward system for 3. Seeing as how you can Get your self and everyone killed I would like to see you get punished for not doing things right in 2, Such as Starting 3 having gotten half your team killed in 2 you get hindered by your lack of help, Aside from maybe one or two New people I don't want to see anyone replaced or added, So you must face your final test Without your Vauled help and Vise-versa, Keeping your party Alive at the end of two would allow you to have access to them throughout 3. No Side Lining Characters unless you have done so through your own lack of planing. We worked too hard to get them and Gain their Trust just to Cast them aside in 3, I mean come on, The Party Members were half the game this time around.

Heh, I would also love to see them Punish you for dying at the end of the game, Such as letting you import your Data from 2 and Starting a new game and just having a Box pop up that says *Oohhhhh, Sorry, You cant Continue, You F$#@ed up"

I think aside from the Party Members The ending matters most. Like the OP said I think a Halo 3 Ending *Never played it my self but I know it was less than great* Would be a Horrid Idea. In a Game based on Options and Choices I think having that type of ending should Depend Fully on your choice at the end. You live and Save the galaxy, You did things one way, You leave into deep space and never return (Like Revan from KOTOR) You did things a Different way. But thats just my Two Cents.

I'd love for Shepard to be able to jump. Other than that, proper reunion with Ash / Kaidan and the same squad as ME2 - I want all the work we went through to keep them alive to actually mean something beyond a few meaningful looks at the end of ME2. / more Tali romance / Wrex leading the Krogan to war against the reapers / Legion proposing peace between the Quarians Geth and inviting them back to the homeworld / The ability to give the Illusive man to Jack as a plaything... that's like her ideal gift right there. More awesome storyness.

Why not? Have you tried to paragon romance Jack? (the sex scene was probably the most emotional scene in the game)

I'm sure a lot of people would have said they couldn't see Liara going dark side before ME2 came out

1#Randomized choice placements. Team betrayal(want someone to turn on shep in the time of need. (Be careful who you upgrade...)



2#Un-allied relationships. I could've have sworn work relationships are against regulations.



3#Chill time with Joker. the fact that Seth Green voices Joker makes you want to talk to him forever so you can catch a few jokes.



4#More casual missions. maybe ones that just require being smart in conversations. Like the Samara's loyalty mission where you had to gather info to lure her daughter. It makes choosing your casual clothes more reasonable.



5#Legacy weapons. Show what good ol' weapons could do. Refurbish modern day weapons into the ME world, such as the P90 or the M16.



6#Unexpected sub missions. While on Omega a group of vorcha attempts to raid the Normandy. While drinking in Dark Star a batarian merc pics a fight with you. Throw off the player every once in a while.
