Mass Effect 3: What do you want and NOT want

Do not want: The illusive man to turn out to be the same old mad with power bs villain that we need to kill. I love the guy, don't ruin him!
Also, I do not want Liara in thep arty. If we shoud have an Asari, it should be Samara (the only Asari I genuinely liked).

It may be better if there were fewer missions with more depth of story, as there was in ME1. The ally recruitment missions, for instance, are too similar. Find area + kill all hostiles = recruitment. Too combat oriented and not enough story. Just think of all the things that Shepard had to do to complete the Noveria, Feros, and Vermire missions in ME1. Each of these missions was much more complicated and interesting than most of the missions in ME2 (in terms of tasks to complete vs just one combat zone after another).
The loyalty missions were much better since they involved alot of interaction with at least one of your crew, but the third squad member just silently stands around and only effects combat. I would like to see squad members react more to conversations Shepard has with others, as they did in ME1, and not just mutely stand around almost all the time. (My favorite line in ME1 is when Shepard is talking to the chief of C-SEC and Wrex reacts to something that is said with "Don't ****** on my hat and tell me it's raining." Something like that.)
I think to some extent story in ME2 was sacrificed for the sake of combat, taking ME closer to a traditional shooter than an RPG. I am not in favor of this. In ME1, not only did the choices that you made change the game, but even the order that missions are done effected what happened. For instance, if you leave Themis for the last mission before the Citadel lockdown, Liara is a little nuts from having been trapped for so long. She refuses to believe that Shepard and his squad are real until you release her from stasis. It's those kind of touches that made me want to play ME1 again and again, in order to explore the various permutations of the story. A real depth of choices and consequences didn't make itself apparent to me while playing ME2. You can certainly make paragon vs renegade choices and other choices determine who survives the suicide mission, but ME2 lacks depth beyond that, a depth I think that ME1 possessed.

If I choose one paragon option and one renegade option in the same conversation, I feel like Shep has multiple personality disorder. "I'll kill you, you sunofab****... just tell me where it hurts, I'll help... better run Mother F***** before I change my mind!"

What I'd like to see in Mass effect 3 is a little more reaction from the crew to mission accomplishment. When Legion comes to the citadel, I got no reaction....WTH?!?!? NPC's should have been flipping out that a geth was strolling the prominade. Anderson gave a ****** poor excuse that geth aren't that big a deal anymore, but there should have been more story involving a geth mobile network interacting with citadel personel. I hope Mass Effect 3 remedies this with more reaction to players actions based on mission log. I.e. Completing the Zaeed DLC after the Collector base destroyed seemed rather pointless. "Should have said: "Oh, btw, mission accomplished, let the Illusive man pay you now, cause I don't need your sorry excuse for a grizzled veteran on my rock solid "No one left behind" team." =D

1) ME2 gameplay back, combat is sooo addictive in this game! I love it!
2) All but one ME2 crew member back, that would be Zaeed. The guy is horrible. I can't believe you guys created him instead of letting us get Ash/Kaidan back.
3)A chance for having some side missions with ME1 mates, like hunting down the shadow broker with Liara or fight a krogan clan with Wrex. The would be so nostalgic.
4)Trust system for team mates. The characters of ME2 are great. They're missions are awesome. But they way you get access to then...it's lame. The fact that you don't need to earn they're trust in order to get the mission made then all superficial despite the great voice acting.
And i have a feeling i could love the characters even more if we were able to know they're personalities better.
This item was a big let down from mass effect 1 to 2 imo.
5) Inventory system back.
6)Ilusive man back. This character is one of the best if not the best character of ME series.
7) Bioware to remember that ME is/should be an RPG/Shooter and not some Shooter/RPG.
8)Dialogs between party members. The thing that they only talks to you make the experience less imersive. They're companions, they should talk to each other. More like ME1 and especially like DA:O.
9) Customizable party members.
What I don't want:
1) Resources scanner.
2) linear relationship with crew members.
3) Fuel for Normandy.
4)Zaeed

I want:
All crew that survived back in ME3!
More romance, and dudes? What is up with zero nudity??? Its ridiculous!
More attention from the crowd.. Like "OMG that's Shepard!!!, he's a god-damn hero!"
Bigger and more cities!
REOPEN THE CITADEL!
Let Shepard survive! And after the end make something special! like here in ME2 i had a romance with Miranda, then when it ended I was almost sure that there would be a scene with Shepard and Miranda celebrating the win, and ehmm do other stuff.. ;D
GRENADES!!!!!!
Inventory!
More randomness! Things just happens sometimes.. Making each playtrough different from the other!
More things to do after you've completed the game!
What I don't want:
Sacnner and minerals, just opgrades you can buy with money
The bad new gameplay
Genophage

-Either get rid of or give a major overhaul to the scanning system. It was kind of cool for a planet or two, but combing over every inch of a planet gets old fast. Holding down the right mouse button scanning all around the planet just got annoying. Even the scanner upgrades only helped to lessen this annoyance. I'm sure I spent at least an hour scanning various planets in my first play through.
-Stop having character appearance be based on paragon/renegade choices. The system of negative choices making your character look bad in games that give you free choice just really bothers me. I also didn't like the explanation that the implants react negatively to darker choices I know you can buy an upgrade to fix this, but I don't think you should have to in the first place.. Just let my character look the same no matter how I decide to play.
-Tweak the leveling system a bit. Too often there wasn't any sense of accomplishment after leveling up. After my first few levels I was stuck saving up for that next new power so I would go though a couple missions at a time without any real changes to my character.
-Most importantly though, hurry up with Mass Effect 3. I'm dieing for the conclusion

-Continuation of relationships, both romantic and platonic. Male/Male and Female/Female as well.
-The ME2 combat system. Don't go back to ME1! I don't care what anyone else says, it sucked.
-Better character creation options. Scars and better hairstyles. Not neccecarily longer hair, but better. FemShep hair still looks a cheap wig dipped in crazy glue.
-Retaking of the Quarian homeworld, either by friendship or force of arms.
-Earth
-Palavan
-Garrus
-Wrex
-Liara (A good solid mixture of her two personalites. Not too sweet and naive, but not Benezia-n psychotic either.)
-Tali
-Legion
-Mordin
-Miranda
-Thane (shut up, he can be healed)
-Kal'Reegar
Don't Want:
- Space combat.
-Sidelining of previous squadmates for brand new ones. 2 or 3 new ones is fine and great but no more.
-Current scanning system. Make it better/into another mingame, not the "joyless time-suck" it is at the moment.
-A forced endgame like the Reaper IFF installation. I go on the final mission when I'm good and ready, not when I'm forced into it by my crew being taken.
- Cooler final boss. Fighting the T-800 was hilarious, not creepy or terrifying.
-Uhh...dropping of relationships. If my relationship with Garrus was just a one-night-stand...I WILL BE P***ED

It's a pipe dream, I know, but the dialogue. It's great, the voice acting is great, all that... but sometimes I'd like to be renegade without being a tool, and sometimes I want to be paragon without being an overly sensitive soccer-mom.
If I choose one paragon option and one renegade option in the same conversation, I feel like Shep has multiple personality disorder. "I'll kill you, you sunofab****... just tell me where it hurts, I'll help... better run Mother F***** before I change my mind!"
Major pipe dream yes but I support this. There really should be 4 options, not 2.
Paragon Excessive "Oh god save the puppies, the fate of the galaxy can wait. The puppies come first."
Paragon Rational/Persuasive
Renegade Rational/Manipulative
Renegade Sociopathic "Kill the puppies and then use them as ammo to kill other puppies. What galaxy?"
I kind of wish that there was a middle special conersation option with the effect of the blue/red special paragon/renegade options that was unlocked by adding your paragon renegade scores. So if the paragon option required 80% paragon, the neutral option would work with 50% paragon and 30% renegade. I rarely feel lime I'm making the decisions as I would if I go 100% paragon or 100% renegade, but you have to to unlock many conversation options. There should be something for taking more of a middle ground path, but still getting the same net total of allignment points, just not necesarily in the same side.

Both games so far have had a common romance quest structure; you flirt with them over the course of the game and just before you go into your perilous mission, you hook up with whomever you where perusing. I’d like to see ME3 break this trend by keeping your LI around for the entirety of ME3, thus allowing you to not only have a LI, but an actual relationship with whomever you chose in the last game.
I understand the need to keep the game fresh so people don’t get bored, but I think keeping Tali and Garrus helped glue the stories together, rather than EVERYONE having something else to do instead of helping Shepard. Instead of railroading ME2’s crew to clear room for a new crew, I think they should either simply keep the old crew or only expand the new crew a small amount in order to allow us to keep the benefits of the work we’ve done in ME2.
And if Tali isn’t a crew member and romance option in ME3, I’ll shoot my X-Box.

i dont know it feels kind of weird that they stand beside each others and dont speak at all , true that in this game it s more like go from point A to B the fastest possible with way less walking than before in towns and such anyhow it would be nice if there was banter oh well
