Want - Tali as squadmember
Not want - No Tali as squadmember

This ^ lol. And I'm dead serious.

Also being able to get your squad members in any order you wish. Cuz having to go from person to person, or even in groups to groups is a little meh, distasteful?

No more Liara, jesus i just wanted to say screw you, but my paragon side got the best of me. She was my LI from the first one, and it seems like she just up and left, and found some other dude along the way. And now she's deeply involved with the shadow broker over this unexplained person. I hope she falls backwards off her balcony.

More realistic people, like some people being fat....ect. Because i could never quite understand how joker is in such great shape, and his bones are incredibly brittle. lol.

Garrus back in the squad, he's a total bad ass!

Squad armor customization, colors, parts, bonuses, the works.

Oh, and a way to kill off the council, because i saved them and really wish i hadn't. That was the second biggest let-down, concidering i saved them and now they just turned there back on me.

Oh and someway to be able to get tali and shepard to coexist in the same room with just clothes on, not here enviro suit. That be tight if like somehow over time tali can be introduced to the bacteria, and things that humans are exposed to and visa-versa, so that we can see tali and shep without all this extra stuff. That means we need to see Tali's Face! lol

Wants:
Hacking/Decryption minigames. They were so much more fun than the random button sequance.
All former squadmates. I aint starting a third team. I rather see the galaxy die.
Normandy SR3. i want a dreadnaught :P
Ability to fix mistakes. If i say the wrong thing, i wana be able to make it right, not just have the person never speak to me again :(
Ablity to kill council. If they dont listen to me one more time, i am literaly guna blow up the citadel. I fix two problems at once. no more reaper gateway, and no more idiots leading the galaxy. :)

NEVER:
Scaning. Make it fun like with hacking. just circleing the planet 10 times is SO boring. such a waste of time.
Fuel. It was completely tacted on and had no reason to be there other then to annoy players.
Shepards father turning out to be a reaper or TIM. Why do I see this happening...

All that comes immediately to mind is scrapping the new galaxy map, but I don't care enough about it to explain why, so maybe it's not even worth mentioning.

So do I, seeing how rare it is to get one's hands on an RPG that's not single-player these days, but not in Mass Effect 3. I'd rather they finish this trilogy first and revisit multiplayer campaign design once it is settled and we're finished with Shepard.

Hmmmm.......

1. Splice the ME and ME2 ammo systems. Heat builds up, using a heat sink takes a chunk out of the heat bar. Or anything that means I don't have to switch to a secondary weapon when I run out of primary ammo.

2. Influence your LI and squad. If you want Liara to stay a murderess, say so and she'll stay a murderess. If you want her to go back to her old self, say so and she'll change back. Like how you could influence Dawn Star to closed fist, Kaidan to exophobia, Silk Fox to open palm or closed fist, etc.

3. Snazzier moral choice system. I'd like to be able to pick if i'm doing something for the wrong reasons, or the right reasons. Example.

"Martin Sheen, I'm giving Cerberus the station so humans will rule."

"Martin Sheen, I'm giving Cerberus the station so the reapers don't reap us."

Maybe you could work in the interrupt system. So for the above example, you hit the renegade choice and then a paragon interrupt to turn the renegade "Give station to Cerberus" choice into a paragon (or quasi-paragon) choice.

4. Never make me do something I don't want to. After installing the IFF a timer starts for the HUGE choice between squad deaths and crew deaths. You can save everyone, but only if you manage to get everyone that needs to be loyal, loyal before the ambush, and then go save the crew.

Short List

Fuel, probes and resources all took time i'd rather spend doing something fun.

Research was cool, but it could be deeper.

Auto-feed fish. Buggers. And more noticable room customization.

Bigger Citadel, revisit old areas (Omega, Noveria, etc). Even briefly, I know it's more fun to design a new area then rehash an old one.

Keep the SR2. gut it and redesign the living heck out of it if you want, but for lore, keep it. Or at least keep the crew. or just Kenneth.

Squad dialogue, and less rigid loyalty system. I expected loyalty decay from Miranda for choicing non-Cerberus actions, and loyalty decay from Jacob for choosing brutal actions.

Pretty much every squad mate should return in some form :P

No Sophie's choice. I'm fine with good and evil.

Want Mordin, Kelly, Legion.

I know you guys will finish the Haestrom sun dark energy, Rachni, Krogan and Quarian/Geth storylines (and anything I missed) stuff well.

Also the overarching plot.
And voice acting.
Casting.
Fun moments (scientist salarian, hehe!)
Characters.

Figure I should end this on a postive note.

Good luck on ME3!

Anyway to the point. What is it you want in ME3
I personally don't care but PLEASE bioware... please
Do not do an ending like Halo 3. That would be so predictable. Shepard dies or goes MIA. I would hate that. I doubt bioware will do anything like that but whatever.
Also what kind of consequences will happen for your new LI. I personally was going to stick with Ash and not persue a new one, BUT she left me. She was mad at me, I told her the mission and there was a chance I would not come back. HEr loyalty to the Alliance was greater than her allgiance to Shepard. So really how would you feel if your lover just left you and didnt support you. I know the message she sent you was an apology but what is that? Shepard would be right by her side if she needed him. So really, I hope they make it so that Shepard isnt the only one who she feel bad. But anyway thats one thing I hope. I hope the confrontation between old LI to new one will be interesting. Especially if its Tali.
So...

wait when did chief die or got mia in halo 3? what were you playing lol

ME is already designed perfectly for 3 person mltiplayer. The two friends dont get to use their sheps, but I would rather have my friend control Garrus instead of an AI anyday. think of the tactical possibilities.

He is out in space in the half of the ship that didnt make it back to earth. there is no portal anymore to get home. He goes into a cryo pod so he wouldnt die and thats the end of the story. He is officialy MIA on earth.

I want the decsions that I made in the last two games to actually matter, not just have a little news report about them or, a cameo appearance of someone I've helped. That was one of the things I didn't like about Mass Effect 2, it seemed like even the big decisions I made in Mass Effect 1 (like saving the council) really didn't effect the story at all.

Want

Skip != Select
Planet Exploration
Moons
(planets should have moons and in abundance...)
Vehicle Combat
SideQuest Bosses
(hidden, hardcore, Think Ruby Weapon ala FF7)
More Gamespace
Branching Sidequests ( don't hold my hand for everything let me find stuff too)
Lewt !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  (lewt whoring is a sport and we love it like South Americans love soccer)
Boobies (yep we deserve them)

Do Not Want

Skip = Select  (seriously pay attention and fix this stupid bug)

Linear Story Board "ONLY" Questing - Make the game feel huge.  Don't shrink it down to nearly platformer status.  This is fine for the main Story Arc and even the loyalty arcs but we gotta have random hidden sidequests and a universe sized gamespace to look for them.

Planet Scanning - Really.. replacing the AWESOMENESS that was planet exploration and vehicle combat with an testiment to RPG tedium was the wrong move in ME2, don't do it again.  Planet exploration is the way.  Just make the planets less cloned and offer an automated resource collection system.  Maybe like defending the mine or capturing it (ON THE PLANET WITH VEHICLES OR ON FOOT!!!)

Lackluster Dumbed Down Gameplay - Offer the option of an automated upgrade system along side a manual system.  Don't try to make one mechanic that rules them all.  Standardized testing results in one of the lowest rated educational systems in the world.  Why the hell would you standardize game mechanics in the same way?  Lets set the bar a little higher and pretend your customers aren't all drooling retards looking for a hand to hold.

I both want and dread an endgame choice where you must choose between saving the galaxy by 1) giving your life somehow 2) losing your whole team thats still alive or 3) losing your LI (maybe your LI comes back to share the last few moments with you as you kiss and then incinerate in some epic explosion that wipes all the reapers away, cuz LI just cant live with out you? Meh, cliche isnt it? Oh and the ability to crouch to make your aim more precise.

I would like to see new characters who are only able to join based off the endings you chose. So there would be a different party member if ME1 and ME2 endings were both paragon, both renegade, or a combination of the two.

Tali should get a clean room of her own? After all Quarian immunology is adaptive. But then it just turns into a nother Tali flame war...

I want the gameplay of Mass Effect 2 mixed in with more dialogue / storyline, Mass Effect 2 was a great game but their seemed to be a lack of meaningful choices throughout the entire time.

Oh? I can shoot or spare this one guy I don't know? And this is the best-decision at the end of the mission?

I don't know how you can have played the game and say that there was a lack of meaningful choices.

Want the side quests to be a little more fleshed out then this current installment's... I literally laughed at how half-assed some of ME2's N7 missions felt. I've done most of the game's side-quests and not a single one had any character interaction, and only ONE had any unique audio-dialogue, everything else was text from data-pads).

The weapon/armor/upgrades system from ME2 is fine. I have no problem with it (even though the die-hard RPG fan inside me is slightly bitter about it), but please... more weapons, more armor (pieces)... and while we are at it, at least one more outfit option for party members. If you are going to take away RPG staples such as weapon and armor management for party members, i'd like to see some minor concessions made.

There are some major opportunities to build game mechanics into the story that were missed, and it would be cool if the 3rd game changed this. Take resource collection for instance... in ME2 its just a mini-game and clicking on boxes... if there were a series of side-quests where Shepard liberates pirate or merc-controlled mining operations, and as a result receives a periodic shipment of resources for the rest of the game (shipments made between missions to be picked up at fuel depots, Citadel, a station of your choosing, whatever), that would make that part of the game feel more personal and matter to the player in the grand scheme of things. I don't see the work and scope required for these missions to add up to more than one recruitment mission and one loyalty mission combined... so... another 8% worth of content... not much. I guess it boils down to trading the scanner in for one or two additional missions (fair trade in my book).

One last food-for-thought bit. Something tells me that the third game is going to be very political, in the sense that Shepard is going to have to convince the peoples of the galaxy that the Reapers are coming, and the missions will involved winning the support of individual species/governments. Very similar to DA:O.

More weapons and armor.

More side missions

All the other squad members from ME2, if they survived.

I want to see females of other species, just curious and also KIDS. They were mentioned in the game, but the galaxy seems to be void of anyone under 18. Almost exactly like Oblivion was. Just implement a system like Fallout 3. Also bigger cities. The galaxy still feels crazy small.

It would be nice if we would be able to keep all of our squad members just as they are. They played an incredible role in ME2 and it would be a shame to introduce another team, especially since the final battle of the story is about to take place.
Off the top of my head:

- the outcome of the war to be decided from the reflection of the player's choices
- do not kill any squad member without it beeing Shepard's choice and/or  beeing unprepared
- i'm also gonna be a little impolite and ask that ME3 should be a little longer ;)
- please don't kill Tali :P

Would like:

-Continuity of squad members
-More interaction amongst squad members, whether through situations like the Miranda/Jack event or Dragon Age-style conversations
-Meaningful conclusions to the romances. And no, I don't mean a sex scene. They've been through a lot, particularly the five from ME1, and deserve a good ending.
-A great ending sequence(s). The cinematic style Mass Effect has going has great potential for more than a brief cutscene plus conclusion blurbs, and I'm really looking forward to a memorable ending.
-A bit more pistol ammo, s'il vous plait.
-I appreciate what you tried to go for with resources, but if it must continue, can we at least have some type of market where we can trade excess resources of one type for one we need? Scanning I can handle; scanning for 50k of one particular type that is never there when I need it is not so fun.

Would not like:

-More than a few new squad members.
-Another overhauling of gameplay. Inevitably some things will need to be tweaked, but whatever you do to the overall combat/ammo/inventory system there are going to be people that complain.
-A return of hours of Mako exploration; if you must give in and return this, please leave the option to just veni, vidi, vici in our shuttle and return.
-Being forced to let a squd member die no matter what. ME2 provided some great and emotional manners in which choices could lead to deaths, but Shepard was not ordained to fail someone no matter what. You've created some pretty memorable characters, and for my Shepard at least, getting everyone that has come to rely on him through the Reaper threat alive is as much a goal as is saving the galaxy, and it would be nice to have the chance to succeed at that.

The decisions that Shepard must make need to be more gray, weightier.

Make the game epic = longer than ME2 of course.

As for ending, it needs to be variable and unpredictable to a degree. Different endings, etc.

forget scanning that got way to boring and finger crampyness was added on top of that also i want unlimited ammo back the heat sinks are way to limiting oh and the EDI was awesome
