Any response on avatar problems?

Has Bioware/EA said anything about the character upload problems?

I just registered the game yesterday so I haven't waited long for a response myself, but reading through the XBox forum, a lot of people have being going through this for some time, and I have seen a peep out of the Bioware folks. Is the problem old enough that I just missed seeing the post?

Or has this (admittedly minor) issue been completely back-burnered while they worked on fixing RTO?

Would love to hear from anyone. The only character image that's uploaded for me is this guy who I just made in an idle moment to try out an origin but then never even played. I'd really like to have my main as my avatar!
