I've been hearing about people losing data after crashes and stuff. I want to know where the saves, as well as achievements are located so I can back up my data in case that happens.

Also, my sound is a little stuttery right now, after finally getting through a part where my game kept crashing. Anyone know how to fix that?

For me, they're in a file under My Documents named BioWare, then Mass Effect (or Mass Effect 2), then Saves.
