I bought the off-hand ammo pack that is supposed to increase my spare ammo capacity by 10%. After equipping it I went on a mission and all of my ammo capacities were exactly the same, and I couldn't pick up any more ammo. Do I have to do something other than equip it to get it to work??
Off-hand ammo Pack doesn't work?

It worked just fine for me, so I don't think you'll have to equip something else.

I'm on the PC, but when I equiped the O-HAP, for some reason all of my ammo counts went down. Sometimes the Assault Rifle ammo limit would fix itself, but most of the time it didn't work right for me.

I know whats causing this bug. I found this topic when I did a search because I didn't want to create a new one. The bug occurs when you change weapons from a weapon locker or at the mission start screen. The only way I have found to work around it is to save and reload after switching weapons.

Spare ammo is for losers anyways, plenty of ammo around the environments to grab and gung ho the rest. Kidding.
It's strange but I think you are better off with other equipment to bolster your stats.

I saw this happen as well on the 360 when I was going to use the off hand ammo pack. I just don't bother with it anymore, as it doesn't give you too many more shots on sniper rifles anyhow.

i agree. it's a good upgrade from the stock 3% health arm piece. but you definitely come across much better later in the game.
