I appears that when I fire my weapon, any weapon for that matter, my wireless controller disconnects. I have tried pressing the right trigger while in the menu, pause screen, etc and it never disconnects my controller, but the moment I begin firing in gameplay my controller disconnects. I have tried using a different controller and it still disconnects. I have tried using other games, in which case is does not disconnect. Plz Help??!!?!?!?!

I thought I was going crazy, for some reason I was having the same issue but not every time I fired, just every few minutes. I checked the battery level and the 360 screen said it was half. Tried a different game and everything was fine, went back to ME2 and it happened again after about 5 minutes of game play. I decided to try another controller with the same batteries and had the same issue. I then put in a fresh set of batteries and have been playing for about 3 hours without any disconnects.
Why did ME2 have problems with the half dead batteries but other games did not? I have no idea. I think it could be that the game uses the rumble feature a lot especially when scanning. My guess is the 360's view on battery life is a little skewed and the old batteries were in fact more "dead" then the 360 was telling me they were. I doubt it’s a ME2 bug.
Try changing your batteries or using a different wireless controller if you have one. Good luck.
