Hello, I am not sure if this is the correct forum to post in, but I bought Mass Effect 1 about a year prior to Mass Effect 2's release, to get more of the backstory since the E3 gameplay got me interested. Little did I know that you would be able to transfer save data from Mass Effect 1 to Mass Effect 2. When Mass Effect 2 came out, I had bought Mass Effect 2...i can keep on blathering about my life and Mass Effect Transfer...bottom line question is am I able to transfer Mass Effect 1 from PC to Mass Effct 2, if I use my portable harddrive to export it?
Sorry if this has been posted before, but couldn't find the question when I used the search function.

No, you can't transfer savegames from PC to XBox360 (or the other way round) because both versions of ME use a different file system.

Yeah I figured as much. Would bioware be interested making them work together?

Personally I wish they would. I have some ME1 save games on 360, but I bought ME2 for PC. Drrr. Not a big deal though. I did end up buying ME1 for PC on Steam for 5 bucks during there holiday madness sales. So if i "REALLY" want to do it, I could just start alllll over again lol.

I was originally going to get Mass Effect 2 for the PC, since well I prefer the pc versions over the console versions.

Heres another question, if the 360 saves are unlocked for mass Effect 1, would their be a download link for a 360 save?
