Would have choose Samara, but without the LI possibility...just not that interesting to me. She has other things to do.

4. Mordin - Freaking hilarious and who doesnt love pull/incinerate floating fireball combo

5. Legion - Want to know more about him. Love to have some kind of team up between him and Tali

6. Wrex - Man he never got old and Grunt was awesome but just didn't replace Wrex

7. Thane - He was cool but i never really got to know him

8. Miranda - Pretty awesome even if she was stuck on her enhancement stuff a little to much

9. Kal'Reeger(sp?) - Still rather have Tali but a pure combat or combat/tech would be nice

Of the 8 characters i want to see return here.


1. Tali - for all the same reasons are posting already, happy to see i'm in the vast majority to haver her continue the adventure and perhaps romance in this epic saga. Would really like to see what she looks like in the finale, could prove to be very emotionally charged because of the lead up.

2. Liara/Ash/Kaiden - to fill in in spot of the romance from the initial game if the player was faithful to her/him.

3. Legion - he could prove to be very useful and interesting character for the finale, could help solve the crisis between the Quarians and Geth.

4. Grunt/Wrex - fills in the Krogna quota.  Since i imagine this battle will be the epic battle and the Krogan will want in, and it will be a multi-racial battle, they could very add Grunt or Wrex for the squad. as Grunt is the strongest Krogan, and Wrex is the strongest leader.

5. Garrus - why have any other Turian when Garrus is the most fleshed out, interesting, and now a character romance choice. He should be there.

----Honostly these 5 are the must-haves for me, especially Tali over all others, the others can go either way -

6.  Mordin - i can see him - if he survives - being the ships doctor but i can't imagine him being a playable, maybe still, could prove incredibly pivotal in the genophage story.

7. Jacob - i liked him, very idealistic, interesting story.

8. Subject Zero - has nowhere else to go, if she survives she'll stick around for the end, likes to fight.



As for new team members to fill in the last 3 spots i'd say.

that way you got the major races represented and going full force in the final fight.

Preferential order (though I doubt Thane, but I can wish can't I?).



1. Thane- He had the most impressive backstory. I totally understand the whole sickness thing, but if he can't live, can we at least have some sort of dialogue/tribute thing with him before he dies? Especially if we romanced him.



2. Mordin- Most awesome salarian ever. I fear of him dying of old age, though.



3. Garrus- What can I say? The turian's held my back for two games now. Let's make it three.



4. Liara- Like to see her reaction once she's realized that I dropped her for a man that may not live through the next year. Besides that, I really liked her character in ME1, and would totally like to comment on the change. That and I just want her back. I miss Liara.



5. Legion- I would love to learn more about him. I was very impressed on how Bioware handled a geth team mate.



6. Samara- Awesome asari of win. Loved her rockin' biotics.



7. Jack- I enjoyed her to certain extent. Very interesting character. Would at least to see how else she develops.



8. Tali- Even though I view her as more a little sister character, I wouldn't mind her coming with me to do whatever.



9. Kolyat- If not Thane, then maybe his son? I would like to see how he would cope with his father if he was to die.



The content of my squad is not a buy or not-buy situation for me. I'll be happy with just about any outcome. This list is just my "It would be really nice if ______ came back".

1. Liara: awesome personality (in ME1) and a great biotic. One of my LI's.  Been through a lot with Shepard.

2. Tali: also awesome personality, great techie, and who can't resist her quirky charm?  Also has a lot of experience with Shepard.

3. Garrus: he is Shepard's best friend, a true bromance if ever there was one.  Since day one he has been there with Shepard just like Liara and Tali.

4. Surviving Alliance member (Ashley/Kaiden): Someone I can trust, also LI with Ashley.  Experience with Shepard.

5. Grunt or Wrex: doesn't matter to me, both are cool

6. Mordin: upgrading the Normandy, teammates and self is fun and rewarding. Plus he is a scientist salarian.

7.Jacob: Always knew he was "iffy" about Cerberus, and it seems like he really wants to do the right thing.

8. Miranda: Only if it is ME2 Paragon ending Miranda, where *spoilers* she tells TIM to screw himself because she is following Shepard and doing what is right.

1. Thane. Really loved the character, (and I want to continue the romance with him >.> ). Curing him would be a nice quest, as someone said.
2. Garrus. Fan favourite, great character. I got problems seeing another turian on the team now.
3. Tali. Same thing as Garrus really.
4. Ashley/Kaidan/Liara. Dont much like either myself but they are possible romance interests and basically confirmed.
5. Grunt. Perfect example of a krogan. Don't think we'll see Wrex in the squad again as he can possible be dead.
6. Mordin. He's a fun and interesting character so I don't see why they'd swap him out.

Mostly these I want in. The other two can be anyone really.
All the humans from ME 2, might have other things to do. Samara probably has her own things to do. Legion would most likely go back to the Geth. But then Thane could very well be dead, Garrus could have moved on as well, etc etc.
Suppose this could be argued a lot. But these are the ones I'd really want to see come back.

Personally, I think it'll only be around 6 characters if people killed everyone off (Virmire obviously, Wrex death, the max Collectors' deaths without Shepard dying) and just add one or a couple new characters. 5. Samara - Favourite character in ME2 among with Mordin and Legion.

6. Miranda - former Cerberus operative is always useful.

7. Jack - A ****, but also the most powerful biotic.

8. Jacob - Well, he can come along.

Unfortunately, both Mordin and Legion died in Collector's Base so no room for them..
I just don't like quarians so no Tali and Zaeed is nothing compared to those krogans...

1. Tali - My favorite character in both ME1 and 2. And i still want to know what she looks like.

2. Legion - Really interesting character. I want to find out more about him, and it would be cool to see him become more and more like a real person.

3. Mordin - Hes just awesome. And i wouldnt mind another song!

4. Wrex - He only got cooler in Mass Effect 2.  I miss his dry wit humour

5. Garrus - Hes awesome.  Nuff said

6. Jacob Taylor - What a great guy. If I met this guy in real life, he'd be one of my best friends

7. Thane - He might be dead by the time ME3 comes around, but itd be nice to have him.  Hes very chill

8. Samara - The only person imho that has a clear definition of right and wrong in the game. That to me is enough to keep her on the team.

1. Liara. My character's love interest in ME1, was disappointed to see I couldn't recruit her in ME2 but I helped her out with the Shadow Broker stuff. Hopefully she'll be in ME3.



2. Garrus. I've come a long way with this old Turian, feel like we're old battle buddies now. Towards the end of ME2 I was paranoid my team was going to turn on me, so I decided to take people I could trust into the collector base. Garrus was one of the two who were always at my side.



3. Tali. She was the other one I counted as most loyal to me. I didn't see much point to her in ME1, but I really liked her in ME2, thought she had a lot more to do. I'd like to see her again in the next game.



4. Grunt. I need a Krogan, and Wrex is busy leading his clan now. Grunt seems just as loyal to me, so I think he'd be a good choice for my team in the next game.



5. Legion. I think he adds some much needed depth to the Geth. I was glad to see they weren't all worshipping the Reapers. It'll be interesting to see if the Geth lend their support to the Council races in the next game... I'm sure they'll play some role, and Legion is the key; he is their interface.



6. Miranda. I'll need her to help me support/take down the Illusive Man, whichever path I choose to go down.



7/8. Surprise me, Bioware.



An extra one: Ashley. Didn't include her in the list because I don't want her on my team, I want to meet her somewhere and shoot her in the head. Deserter.

2) Garrus: what a stud. Really had an awesome personality in this one

3) Legion: a geth that talks and fights with you? Count me in.

4) Thane: what a perfect paragon character. And he is an assassin.

5) Zaaed: I loved his personality. Merc with an attitude and sweet scars.

6) Mordin: hilarious. His lines were great

7) Jacob: I thought he had a sweet personality. Kinda similar to Sheps

8) Wrex or Grunt: I loved both the krogans. They both had some good lines and were great fighters

1) Miranda - very well developed character. Very good story behind her. And she's very loyal to Shepard if you were nice. (is a must character)
2) Wrex - very tough and funny character once you get to know him. (is a must character)
3) Mordin - very intelligent and hilarious, his conversations are funny to listen to. (is a must character)
4) Ashley - like to see how she would react with Miranda.
5) Garrus - good friend of shepard, very good to the storyline.
6) Jacob - great complimentary character.
7) Liara - she's alright character, it would be interesting to see how her story unfolds.
8) Tali - she is just a different character.

You people who are saying all ME2 recruits and maybe Wrex... keep in mind they could all be dead, and that would suck for the people who only have 3 or 4 left alive. Just sayin'.

And then they'll most likely throw in new people. I think the ME2 people could be interchangeable. But you can probably only obtain 2/3 max. That's if their feeling generous and don't just give you a whole new squad. Man, I hope they don't do that again.
