I'm kind of wondering with all of the needs around here, and lack of Bioware responses with huge issues, when is Bioware going to come around?

I'm guessing since it's weekend they havent been around, you think they will stop on by, maybe help people that paid for their game legally to be able to play?

When on monday do they come around?

Trouble filled threads:

I'm sure they will read this and thank you for making a thread in the already cluttered tech support question, and love you for wasting their time by not even posting what the problem your pissed about is...

Interesting. 2 million copies of ME2 have been shipped.

Please post your dxdiag and we'll take a look.

I see Bioware isn't the only people missing my thread...

I would keep bumping it but I'm hesitant to do so for fear of getting flamed. Can someone take a look, please?

I was hoping by now(since it isnt weekend anymore) that Bioware would show some more life. Like, what the coming patch is going to fix for example

Mass Effect PC Technical Support (Spoilers Warning)This forum is for fans and owners of Mass Effect on the PC to assist each other with technical questions. Official game support is provided by Electronic Arts, but fans are encouraged to try to assist each other here. Both ME1 and ME2 are supported here.

This forum is really a peer support forum, while I'm sure that Bioware folks check these forums out, them actually posting here is very rare.

Well that's pretty god damn lame. "We got your money so you are on your own" is not really what I want to hear from BIoware o.o

That's how it's always been in Bioware's forums, but the developers do look at the problems people are complaining about, they just don't always post that they have looked or are doing anything about it.

Of course, like every other noob, the OP ignores the fact that Bioware has no support staff, and that this forum has none.  The forum is described at the top, but like most of the western world's people under about age 40, he won't make the effort to READ what is in front of his face.

Here's Chris Priestley:

"Official game support is supplied by Electronic Arts here

"To get help with technical issues for the PC please visit Official Support and check their existing questions & answers or request help.

"This forum is for fans of (edited) Mass Effect 1 & 2  to assist each other with technical questions. We have an excellent and helpful community, but remember OIfficial game support is here. "

(Make whatever page adjustments are necessary at the EA end to deal with whichever ME had a problem instead of the original DA: O pages Chris wrote about back before there was any ME here in the Social Site.)

Seems pretty straight forward to me.

Sticky? What's a sticky!?

I's be willing to bet that Bioware would be much more likely to look into a problem if the person posting it..

1) Reviewed the "How to properly report a problem" sticky at the top of the page.

2) Posted a bit more coherently then "Me2 will not install, crashes/locks up/smells funny because Bioware belongs to EA, doesn't care/stole my money/kicked my dog so I am going to boycott/cry/whine/repeatedly post/bump/attack those that do try and help because my system is top of the line/good enough/plays every other game at max setting and 900FPS/I am a system designer/time traveler and am never wrong.

How long have you been playing Console/Computer games? How long does it take for those companies, "to come around".

The game is a few days old. Go have lunch or take the shuttle to Ringo Moon. Asking when, ain't gonna make it happen any sooner. All it does is stir the roachnest.

And expecting a game to work, on all platforms, new outta da box, is plain crazy.

So far flawless operation for me.

No, by all means if you have an issue report it. However just stating "My game crashed" does not give any information needed to trouble shoot the issue.

System specs and an abridged DxDiag are a must. It is very possible that the game has a coding issue that effects certian hardware, or software causing stability issues, crashes etc. Without the basic information which is required on practically every troubleshooting/tech support board, there will be no fix.

Bioware, when they do release a patch, will probably not fix half of  the issue listed on these boards, not becasue they do not want to, or because the issue is unfixable, but because the people posting the issues are only posting, "ME2 will not install, I'm running Vista 32".

A good portion of the issues are also operator side errors.

Okay so.. I was suddenly able to launch the game now. I re-installed, then ran the starter as an administrator. Now I can launch it. I havent dared to play long enough to check if it still crashes or not though

EDIT: To zacrober/above; yeah i agree, which is why the first thread in the thread list is mine, stating everything that happend to me, along with my specs
