I have a question about the Tali/Legion fight that happens after his mission. I have maxed out Renegade meter and about half Paragon meter, but when I get into the fight cutscene, the Renegade choice is greyed out. I don't understand how this should be possible since my renegade meter is literally as full as it can get.
Can someone shed some light on this? I'd like to keep them both loyal, since I've put a lot of effort into trying to ensure everyone lives.

No, I do. I'm a Vanguard Champion. This even increased my Renegade/paragon scores more which is part of the reason I chose it lol.

I went in as a Full Paragon and I had the blue option. Maybe it's because you have too much Paragon even if you are full Renegade?

Ran into this with maxed renegade, maxed class skill, and loyalty with both characters. Didn't run into with another character that had maxed Paragon. I noticed as a Renegade I could talk to Legion right after (if I told him to cut it out, and supported Tali) and tell him I was just lying to Tali. This smoothed things out and somehow kept them both loyal.

That sounds promising, I have a ton of saved games so I'll try that and see how it goes. Just out of curiousity, have you finished and did it let them both survive? (don't spoil the story tho I haven't finished
)

I did what you suggested Pacha, and it seems to have worked. Thanks a ton.
I guess it must have something to do with my paragon score like dtkt said, since I saved the geth station. Perhaps it *is* a bug. Seems odd either way.

I also got this problem during the Tali/Legion fight. I was max renegade and my paragon bar was about halfway full after I used the virus on the heretics, and both the paragon and renegade options were greyed out so I couldn't talk them both down.
The strange part is that the first time I went through their fight, it was on the same character (I had made a save so I could go through and finish again with a different romance choice), and no problems, the paragon/renegade bars would have been in about the same spot. (Renegade maxed out for sure by then, paragon might have been slightly lower the first time).
Though I did side with Tali and was able to tell Legion that I lied to her afterwards, so they both stayed loyal. Still, it's an odd sort of bug.

I had to do the same thing with the Jack/Miranda fight. Sided with Miranda cause she's my LI and then told Jack that it was just lip service and that I'd lied to keep her feeling like she had control.
