Does anyone have a copy of the correct nvtt.dll file for the game? I believe it can be found at C:/ Program Files (x86)/ Common Files/ BioWare. For Vista.
Thanks.

I have the problem with the nvtt.dll error. The game will start if i go to binaries in the program files and click MassEffect2.exe. I still have problems with the MassEffect2Config.exe. It also has an error. Worst of all i can''t get the pistol from the locker early in the game. All controls needed up to that point work exept for my space bar. Can''t continue without the pistol. HELP PLEASE. Thought these may help you. http://gbxforums.gea...ead.php?t=85817
The problem with interacting with objects is normally caused by poor performance. This is normally related to a PC that does not meet the system requirements to run the game. Especially the videocard.

You are correct, and he probably needed to upgrade his video device, but the thread was old, and had been dug from its grave by what appears to have been a Spammer or someone with other strange problems.Recnamoken wrote...

Given the age of this thread, it seems entire suitable for a quick hijack.Recnamoken wrote...
Gorath Alpha isn't the friendliest guy
here, but he knows his facts. That videocard is not meeting the system
requirements and all problems you encounter are your problems. I think
the game requires more shading computing power than your videocard can
provide and that causes the crashes.
I'm never intentionally unpleasant, although I will admit to having to
soft-pedal the sarcasm I may want to use, and while being sarcastic is
not particularly "nice", I do manage to avoid it most of the time.
Neither flames, trolls, nor morons can get me to reply in kind, although
in such cases, I do feel free to be as sarcatic as possible.
It's the sugar coating, Recknamoken. I learned to speak and to write when a spade was just a plain spade, not an "implement of soil removal", or whatever the latest Politically Correct foolishness wants to change it into. I sugar coat nothing, just can't develop that habit this late in life, nor do I feel much inclination to try to learn. The only "button" anyone can get a rise out of me with is when Intel's awful excuses for video are at the heart of some matter or another.
If it's possible to "hate" something of that nature, I practically do feel that emotion toward those nasty things.
