1. Tali ( Tali, was my Shep's romance choice, and her loyalty mission tugged on my heartstrings *Paragon Interupt* when she finds her father in particular)

2. Garrus ("I had reach, she had flexibility." If not just for that line, for the fact that he has one awesome voice and is a likable guy... Er, Turian.)

3. Jacob (Likable)

4. Legion (He's a Geth who is NOT trying to kill Shep. How could I say no?)

5. Joker (I know he isn't a squad member, but he saved me at the end... So long as he doesn't take his love/hate 'relationship' with EDI any further on the 'love' side... And she did say she liked to see humans on their knees...)

6. Mordin (He has a wonderful singing voice, plus his research on those swarms)

7. Zaeed (Because it's time to become big go'amn heroes.)

8. Thane (He's okay, but I didn't really care for him much. )

9. Jack (Bratty, aggressive, and no sense of fashion, not that I'm any expert on that. If only there were some way to choose who died on the suicide mission...)

10. Miranda (Same as Jack, except for the near-wardrobe malfunctions. Also imposed what she wanted on her cloned sister. Did die on my not-suicidal suicide mission)

11. Samara (Came off as bloodthirsty and near-crazy)

12. Grunt ( Never got around to reviving him)

I all. Especially Tali and Garrus. All the characters are well done imo.

1. Garrus - He was a total badass, and his loyalty to Shepard is commendable.
2. Thane - Touching backstory, great romance... tragic.
3. Mordin - It's great to see him work out his problems with the ethics of the genophage he modified.
4. Legion - The Geth are fascinating, and Legion is no exception. He's also pretty badass.
5. Grunt - I disliked Wrex, thought he was boring, but Grunt is... what a Krogan should be. His journey of self-discovery is adorable, if a bit terrifying at times. Stay away from my Turian.
6. Samara - I didn't think I'd like her, but she was incredibly interesting. Her stories about her life kept me enthralled, and her side-quest was emotional.
7. Tali - I hated her in the first game, she was annoying. "My people" this and "My Pilgrimage" that. It was nice to see how she grew up and became a strong, determined woman.
8. Jack - I liked Jack, I did. She was angry and bitter, and with good reason. He side-quest was... wow. Really.
9. Miranda - Miranda was cool enough, if a bit predictable.
10. Jacob - I like him well enough, but he's not someone I really formed any attachment to, even with playing ME Galaxy. He's a good guy, solid as a friend, but I prefer Kaidan's character to his.
11. Zaeed - Great voice, interesting stories, but he was kind of meh. There's no real interaction with him, which I thought was pretty strange.

All seemed like good characters to me. Didnt like Jack's personality and Zhaeed just wasnt fleshed out enough, that and I didn't like the fact that he would put revenge over the lives that he threatened due to all the fire.

But if I really have to pick one, who I love most... Well... Garrus was great for me (maybe, because he was in 1.)... And outside of team - Wrex. Love him

Honestly I liked all the characters (excluding Zaeed). I liked them better than the characters in ME1 save Wrex.

1. Mordin- one of Bioware's best characters imo <3<3
2. Legion - SO CUTE
3. Tali- I liked her even more so than in ME1
4. Garrus- he's as awesome as ever
5. Samara- strong, sexy asari who isn't a romance interest??
6. Thane- great design. Was a little disappointed in the choice to make him into a walking collection of stereotypes but I still liked him. My main Shepard romanced him and I enjoyed playing through it.
7. Jack- liked her a lot more than I thought I would.
8. Jacob- he is a vast improvement from Bioware's other leading males.
9. Miranda- I didn't like her much from what I saw in previews but in game she is a cool lady.
10. Grunt- replaced Wrex so that gives him -rep for me :| I still rather liked this character though

I'd stop there as everyone else is tied in last place. I just... didn't like them, find them interesting, or I felt their overt sexuality kept overshadowing their characterization. Very bland. If I had to complete the list, then...

1. Jack (almost Mordin, almost. Jack has something more hidden behind her skin and ink. Didn't like her at first. But in the end she got me. Great potential if developed further.)

2. Mordin (who don't like him singing? Also, in my opinion the most thoughtful loyalty mission in the game)

3. Garrus (kudos for the developing friendship)

4. Thane (Even I'm surprised that I pot him here, but I found myself going to his quarters over and over again hoping for a little conversation. I can see myself in his shoes. If that's the right term in English)

5. Legion (for the geth insight, and the environments reaction if you carry it around.)

6. Grunt (I felt some things were cut out of the game concerning his character, but still, I liked his cracks)

7. Jacob (Found him a bit basic, but what the writers had stuffed in there, was pulled out very well.)

8. Miranda (Again, somewhat basic character but well written. Didn't like her personality, but liked the fact she's well written enough to make me don't like her.)

9. Tali (Glad this time she got personality apart from being a codex entry who talks occasionally. But apart from the romance, which I didn't pursue, there wasn't anything special. Apart from one touching moment on her loyalty quest. She was the nice engineer-nerd again. That's it - for me)

10. Zaeed (The fact we couldn't really talk him on the Normandy gave something away. But the guy is a beast, I'll give him that. Too bad it wasn't pulled out in a more detailed way)

11. Samara (She's okay, but nothing special here. I respected her ways, and liked her neck-snapping style. But I'd still exchange her for the asari bartender in Eternity )

I just share Ileanos07 opinion. I like all of them.

Even the crew was funny as hell Ken and Gabby ("She can't hear us with her head in that bucket."), Joker (his imitation of Legion while approaching the geth base) or Dr. Chakwas (with her story about Jenkins and Kaidan). Not to mention EDI (AI-Core conversation).

[Dr. Peter Venkman]

1. Tali/Garrus very well written characters and are my favorite crossovers from the game. They stayed true to character, and Tali's missions were the best in the game.



2. Mordin. Another great character. I loved his dialogue and witty banter. Plus he's a scientist Solarian.



2b). Ken and Gabby in Engineering. I wish they never stopped talking.



3. Legion. It was very cool being able to actually talk to Geth and get their viewpoint on their whole war with the Quarians, which I found quite entertaining, since my Shepard and Tali actually argued about the justification for said war in ME 1.



4. I liked Miranda a lot, and the whole family issue seemed to actually make her human, as opposed to "genetically perfect" and referring to herself as a combination of genes. I started hating her, considering her a Cerberus lap dog, but she redeemed herself at the end.



5. Thane. I liked his loyalty mission, but when he was on my steam it kind of killed him being a "super assasn".



6. Samara. I liked the whole thing about the justicars going around and kicking ass, but her character was somewhat bland.



7. Jacob. I did not particularly care for Jacob, he seemed like an alright dude, but he didn't hit home with me.



8. Grunt. Didn't like him. He is no Wrex.



9. Zaeed. I hated this dude. I wanted to keep punching him in the face like I did on his loyalty mission. I can't stand people doing stuff simply for money.

[Commander Gonzalez]

1. Garrus (He has always been my wingman since meeting on the Citadel and always reminded me of my older brother - SURVIVED)



2. Grunt (I disliked Krogans until I began interacting with Grunt, the loyalty mission was just amazing, learning all this culture, I regret Grunt dieing)



3. Mordin (loved Salarians since the entire Virmire planet, Captain Kirrahe always liked the "Hold the Line" speech, Mordin himself prefers to focus on getting the job done and going home. - SURVIVED)



4. Jacob (idk he just seemed like a good friend, but couldn't replace Kaidan - SURVIVED)



5. Thane (emotional story with his child and everything, rough exterior, but soft on the inside)



6. Miranda (hottest girl on the ship - SURVIVED)



7 Tali (Really matured from the last game and was proud of her - SURVIVED)



8. Legion



9. Samara



10. Zaeed (He really showed himself to me, sacrificing himself to allow my crew to make it back to the Normandy, even after we fought while trying to get Santiago)

Major impact on my ME2 exp:

1. Tali is ME. She deeply cares for Shepard, props to Liz Sroka for conveying love, loss, shyness, and bitterness. I would expand but there is already a billion Tali threads and I don't wish to repeat myself.

2. Mordin: also a character who shows a wide range of emotions and would be my favorite in a Tali void. Has a very realistic moral compass.

3. Legion: The geth are exponentially more deep as a race than I initially expected.

Minor Impact (I've answered this question in different threads and maybe even differently, still trying to sort these people out):

4. Garrus: Old friend, very broken since ME1, I'm not a fan of broken people but it is good to have him back.

5. Grunt: Interesting conversations, character concept has been done before, made a comment that asari, humans, and salarians are all very squishy, quarians not so much, I am still pondering that statement...

6. Miranda: Ice queen A

7. Thane: Eh

8. Jacob: Eh

9. Jack: Was deeper than I thought like Casey said not that it was much, looks may have had a negative impact on my perception as I found her very hidnasty.

10: Samara: Space paladin except not as cool, would have been cool if she wore full tech plate and carried a two-hander, personality did not move me.
