1. Jack- I like everything about her, down to even her aggressive ways, but it's because I understand them and how she just wants to protect herself after all the bad **** that she's gone through whenever she let anyone close. Hell even her appearance, i'm a metal fan I see people like her at concerts plenty, hell I think she looks pretty cool.

It's obvious why most people don't like zaeed what with not being able to really talk to him on the ship, but if you take him out on missions and stuff he's a pretty cool character. He could have been even better though if they had invested in him the same way they did the others.

Garrus he is the man or what ever, total ass kicker the right guy for any job. Truly the only character in the game who i think has my back always, regardless.

Samara the best biotic in the game and she is totally sexy especially if you dress her in black, the most beautyful female character in the game. Sorry Miranda fans, second place is not to bad.

Grunt total bad ass in combat, he runs interference for me alot, he draws attention and can take a beating, while i flank the enemy. I can not even tell you how many fights were finished by me shooting the enemy in the back.

Miranda kind of a **** until you get to know her a bit better, wonderful eye candy nothing like wandering around some port with 2 of the galaxie's hottest chicks in tow Samara and Miranda.

Mordin when he sings Gilbert and Sullivan the geek version that was it he was my buddy.

EDI its Tricia Helfer what is not to like, i fell in love with her from the moment i saw her in BSG, Burn Notice, total babe. Wish they could have worked her into the game like thay did for the actress who voices Miranda, (she looks similar in game to real life) if they did that and made her a LI as well i would finally drive a dudeshep.

Kelly sweet, pretty and she will fed your fish, you know how many fish i killed before i figured out she will feed them for you. Plus a much better romance option for the femsheps than the current selections.

Thane the spiritual assasin, reminds me of David Carradine here come the flash backs Kung Fu and Kill Bill.

Legion he is Geth but not really enough time to get to know him to much, but i can see a larger role for him in ME3, considering he is Geth this just might work out well for the Quarians.

Tali is here on the list because if i put her any lower the Tali fans will come buy and grafitti my house, as it is i will probably get a stern talking to, they scare me more than the reapers do.  

Zaeed kind of over done in the stereo-typical merc way. Not a bad fighter and his combat comments are quite interesting.

Jacob can not argue with his skill in combat, terrible diction which makes it hard for me to take him seriously. He sounds like some banger on the block slinging dime bags i keep expecting him to hold his weapon sideways. The guy who voiced Zathrian (DAO) and played Tuvok  (Star Trek Voyager) would have been more convincing.

TIM yea he makes the list, it is his boat, and his tab, that has to count for something. So long as he stays in hiding smoking his Marlboro Reds, and paying the bills i have no problem, because i am going to do things my way anyway.

Jack there is only so much surley teenage angst i can tolerate before i want to airlock the ****. She would be perfect for Grunt as a LI, but i actually like Grunt so i guess ill airlock her instead.

1. Tali / Garrus. I absolutely adore Tali. It's not even the "what's under the helmet" aspect, although the mystique helps - It's her accent. Which still sounds a hint synthetic even when her mask is off. Shame she is only romance-able by male Shepards. Garrus is a very close tie, if only because he got that stick out of his ass and is now using it to beat people to death with it.



2. Mordin. Truly, he is the very model of a scientist Salarian. Nothing more needs be said.



3. Legion. There is something exquisite about the severely alien personality of Legion. For all of the intellect that's clearly pulsing along the fiber optics beneath that warped and twisted chassis, there's a... elusive, almost child-like quality to him/her/it/them. He's also philosophic at times.



4. Grunt. The rite of passage for his loyalty mission was pretty damn cool, I have to say. I loved hearing him roar 'I! AM! KROGAN!' just as the thrasher maw went down. I know it's a random battlecry, but it was an utterly awesome sync.



5. Thane. A repentant assassin is a pretty interesting choice. I do like his subdued personality, and the recall flashes of his eidetic memory makes for interesting conversations... And for someone who feels it necessary to pray every time he kills someone, having such a memory must be painful.



6. Samara. Hey... any one-thousand-plus year-old warrior monk who, one, can look that good, and two, is willing to hunt down her own vampiric daughter for four-hundred years(!) is alright in my book. I think they should have added some of that Code in to the conversations, though...



7. Zaeed. Call me a sucker for busted-up, old-aged bad-asses who will nuke an entire refinery to kill one man, but any merc who survives a gunshot to the head can watch my back any time. As has been mentioned though, he really, really needed more conversation to him, although he will tell you different stories every time you recruit a new character.



8. Jack. Dude. She gets pulled out of deep cryo-sleep, and not ten seconds later has wrecked the sh..poop out of three YMIR mechs and blown a huge hole in several walls. She's probably the reason the Purgatory went down, too, the whole jail-break thing notwithstanding.



9. Jacob. He's a cool dude, but he seemed a trifle one-dimensional.. or at least that's how he's presented. He struck me as the Garrus (of ME1) of ME2. I still like him, even if he was a jerk and tossed out that AI comment when I picked up Tali. ... the jerk.



10. Miranda. Black alternative uniform. 'nuff said, rowr.

Bland/Boring:

Garrus (didn't like him in the first game either)

Jacob (eh nothing to write home about)

Zaeed (he was just kinda there)

Thane ( I fall asleep when ever he talks)



Annoying:

Jack (wasn't buying the tough girl thing, it's cute in a pathetic way)

Miranda ( She was nothing but a bad sex joke)

Mordin ( talks to much)

Favorite to least favorite.



1. Miranda (I hated her at the start, but she grew on me as the game went. I liked it when she essentially told the Illusive Man to shove it. Her biotic skills also complimented my play style very well.)

2. Grunt (I thought he was a character with a lot of potential and he's tough as nails on the battlefield. I liked his loyalty.)

3. Tali (I didn't use her much this game, but I think her back story and the Quarians in general are pretty interesting.)

4. Garrus (He's a good ally to have. Experienced, knowledgeable, and handy with a rifle.)

5. Mordin (He was strange.. in a good way.)

6. Zaeed (Purely for the one liners.)

7. Thane (I'd like to know how his kid turns out.)

8. Samara (She bored me for some reason.)

9. Legion (I felt like he was a missed opportunity.)

10. Jacob (I felt like he was too much of a soldier stereotype. His comments bothered me while in battle.)

11. Jack (If I had the option I would have kicked her off the ship. She was annoying, unattractive, and unaware.)

Favoured only by characters storyline not gameplay usability in fights.

* Great ones
1. Garrus - favourite in ME 1 the same in ME 2 ( actually I thought that mayby Thane should be nr 1 but, sentiment holds Garrus on 1'st place. )
2. Thane - great personal story. I don't know why but he realy destroyed me, at the first place I didn't like him but line after line of his dialogues I liked him more and more.
3. Legion - don't know why but he's one of my favourite characters
4. Grunt - Jaggernaut ; you must earn his respect but when you do that hes a great ally.

* Good but could be better
5. Mordin - sometimes makes my angry with his " too much talking", but he's funny and original after all.
6. Jack - Bit stereotype. A small girl behind the mask of nasty bi*ch. Could be better.
7. Miranda - quite interesting ( great ass ) but could be better. Still " in the top characters"

* Dull/Weak whatever.
8. Zaaed - could be a great character but..
9. Jacob - stereotype; bit dull
10. Samara - just boring.
11. Tali - nr.1 character that I would kill myself with bare hands.
